New Displayable Title: Guild

So it's ok to have a racist name because it's "just a game"?

Again someone who fails to actually read what the OP is saying.
Our guild NAME is NOT by our names our guild TAG is.
What hes asking is for is our full guilds name under ours where the titles are displayed currently.

They could very easily just make the title like this Guild: Guild Name
then there would be no exploitation possible since the : isnt allowed in the names.

This is a great idea. Duplicate guild tags can be a pain in the rear. When my guild was a part of a larger alliance there were duplicate tags (for a variety of reasons, and not a part of the alliance) it's a pain being whispered or spammed because someone from another guild completely unrelated to your own has being involved in underhand actions. Trying to explain to others that there are indeed duplicate tags for some of the well known guilds is next to pointless as there is no quick or easy way to prove it.

Don't make it a title. Make it a feature. I can't see how this would be overly difficult.

Make it togglable, so those who don't want to show their guild don't, and those who aren't in a guild aren't distiguishable from those who are - cutting down on the spam they receive.

Put the tag next to the guild - so we can all have a laugh at the funny ones, and have the racist/sexist/or otherwise highly vulgar ones banned accordingly.

Creating a market for guild names is awesome IMO.

I would prefer to see my position in my guild displayed.

ie, Guild Lord, Guild Officer, Guild Member.

As it stands now the only reason to be a guild leader is so that nobody can kick you out of the guild.....

ridiculous idea. titles are for ppl achieving something and shouldn't be replaced with anything ~15k worth (Sigil Stone).
I know the name of my guild. Don't care what other ppl guilds are called.

so what? few ppl will have it, but it doesn't matter much nowadays anyway, too many ppl with that title. And well, theyy could also just limit out some particular words such as title names etc.

I find that to be more pointless than my own idea - the only one who should really care if you're the leader or an officer is your own guildies... and couldn't they just press 'g'?

Except there's a (6) after the actual title... meaning anyone who ISN'T mentally handicap can figure out it's the guild name.

Pretty sure there are already guild names based off title names already, so it wouldn't be that different.

Most of the actual titles can be bought so seriously who cares.
They didnt really "achieve" anything but they display it anyways.

and on a side note, this would help from people making fake pvp guilds and trying to say they are in the real one (ie CCCP)

idea is very nice. Many people do not display their titles so possibility of displaying a guild name is interesting. Maybe there should be as well a possibility to display guild banner on the shield as medieval knights did. Most of shields are ugly.

I think that displaying the guild banner on shields wouldn't turn out that well. I'm under the impression that it would look REALLY bad on a lot of shields.
