Currently DoA is dead, and it has been since the Ursan nerf. I found DoA fun, with or without ursan, as well as a good source of money. I am fortunate enough to be in a alliance that does DoA and other areas. However, it is extremely rare to find pugs for these. The only two other places that have a 12 person party are the Deep and Urgoz, both elite missions like DoA. These aren't that busy either, but it is still possible to get a non-guild pug.
I feel that if DoA was changed from 8 man to 12 man, or somewhere in between, it would give more teams a greater chance in forming. What do you guys think?

Well it's already easy if you understand aggro patterns and the people you're playing with aren't complete failures. (This is outside of Tank 'N' Spank, by the way)
I'm not really sure this'll be the spark that will ignite DoA again though. All of the elite areas are dead, atleast from what I hear. If you ask me, the problem behind this is the incentive from those areas and not the difficulty.

I think that if you could have 12 people in a party more people would do the run because it would be quicker and easier. I think that the only reason that people don't want to form a party for the deep is because of the bad drops at the end chest. I think that people would form parties for easy tormented weapons.

The deep is easy and it is still an 'elite area'. Maybe this isn't the answer, I'm sure after a while people are going to start experimenting with builds again after the VS farm dies. I'm sure there are other people out there who want to be able to go to DOA and get some gem sets for tormented weapons. I don't know what to suggest, if they increase the party size then it probably would be overkill if all 12 party members had max lb but perhaps they might consider increasing the amount of gems you get in the run to attract more players to attempt to clear DOA.

Change Ursan (IN A SPECIAL SKILL for only Elite Zone): DoA , UW , FoW , Urgoz , Deep and Duncan .
SPECIAL SKILL:
Ursan becomes maximum damage only in the Elite Area.
And the time period increases.
