Discarded Mesmer model

I was looking at www.guildwars.com using the way back machine and came across this screenshot.

The armor looks great and I guess it was possibly used for a mesmer. I wonder why it was never used for players or even an npc.

Honestly, looking at it, I'm glad that was never in game...

Looks similar to EotN ele armors mirite?

The model isn't too great (I don't think that face is in the game), but I like the armor.

EDIT: the screenshot has heavy bloom, so it's probably from EotN.

I know mesmers have skirts but that is too small even for FoW standards.

Thats most likely a (better) Ele model. One that doesnt stand all awkward, like it's about to fall over but isnt quite making it.

At any rate, not that big a loss. Its not a great armor, and its a horrible face.

Not a ranger, the stance is different, female rangers stand with their legs slightly apart. Mesmers stand with them together.

Anyway, it does look like a mes, but a sort of pseudo elementalist costume, theres a couple of ele female armours that are like that (small top with shoulder pads and a skirt.)

I would like the Gladiator Armor to be modified a little. If it looked more like this, I'd put some on my warrior;

Isn't that an Elementalist armor? Tops Elite Sunboob armor by miles.

They kept the boots. Those are the Theatrical boots.

I don't think that's an el because her breasts are too small...

@Winterclaw - are you using calipers to measure that sort of stuff on the screen?

Definitely a caster - the pose shows that. Weapon users stand with feet apart. Don't know whose idea it is but all wrong for either ele or mesmer -- Not elegant enough for mesmer; not "look at me" enough for an ele.

Sometimes the creative brains take a holiday from reality, like rangers with spikes to catch on things as you try to slip through the undergrowth.

Looks like a ranger to me...

Where's all the beta-people? Come on, tell us about this armor!

Whatever profession, she certainly belongs on a street corner asking passers-by if they want to "party."
