I just did so much hfff for my legendary survivor char (made like 50k of gold with a few leechers). Now even though I am burnt out, I will have to grind it out all weekend long. I barely reached like 1 mil donated faction. Now every 10k will donate 40k (if it doubles it like it's supposed to). I hope that through the weekend along with the hopeful change to the title (maybe if they reduce the maximum) then I can have it maxed within a month or 2.
So I really will enjoy the weekend event, if anyone will need hfff runs you'll probably see me spamming in lutgardis under my char name.

AB/Faction weekend is a PvE weekend. AB and faction title = PvE rewards. It's PvE.
And this weekend is worthless without double balthazar. That's pretty much the only good thing about AB weekends, and this, from what i've read, lacks that. More like a HFF weekend. Sadface.

Aspenwood on luxon side, long time since I did that, THAT might be a good idea. I like FA but usually the rewards are piddy.

Btw - since nobody mentioned it (it's probably WAAAAAY to common sense to even bother BUT whatever gets my post count up ) - for those of us that are a bit slow when it comes to gathering faction - we have the opportunity to gather faction almost all week up to the point when the weekend starts and the just transfer it for the bonus (aka gather 10k in the next few days when there shouldn't be as crowded yet and then transfer it during the weekend).

LOL had they done this one month ago, I would have saved ... hmm let's say 10 hours in getting r12 Kurzick ... not so much considering it took me 400 hours 
It's a good weekend for those who start from the scratch and want to get the earlier ranks, and after the recent updates PvE skills are rather effective and usable even at low ranks.
For those who want the title, this weekend is nearly useless, in my opinion A.net should completely redesign those titles making them like EotN titles.

I've waited a long time for this weekend, and it arrived too late. Oh well.
They did one just like it right after the Kurzick/Luxon PvE skills were released. I got to Kurzick rank 1 back then. I managed to reach rank 4 recently, enough to get my monument, and I can't be bothered with getting more. I don't need another maxed title so I don't see the point.

Kurzick/Luxon titles are just too time consuming. I'll probably do some this weekend, but I'm not about to sit at my computer for an entire weekend just to put a scratch into this title. I'm just R2 now, so it would take decades to max it out.

as much as noone likes to admit it, ab/faw/jq is pvp. maybe small scale but theres balth included. factions was designed as a gateway from pve to pvp, so it is the inbetween people need to get experience. if they were to make the weekend double balth too, look at all the zaishen title garbage that would rank up. last week was ra/ta points and keys dropped a bit. this is a way for people to get that title that they need for immortality without destroying one of the few things that people can make money off of. as for fff, i think it should have been done away with long ago and with a prospective redux in the max for this title, i see it on the chopping block. i especially dont like how it makes survivor a profitable joke. i dont like how my surv seems less cool cuz of fff or stupid punchout tournaments. and with it being double rewards, the intensity levels of stupid will be less dramatic. you can go to hfff if you dont like people in ab/comp missions, or the other way if you want some meaningless interaction. id recommend having 10k saved up and ready to go, but make sure the build is in place before you let it fly :|
