I was thinking the other day about people that buy guild wars gold online from places. Why risk it when all you really have to do is buy another guild wars campaign and put in tourny predictions then sell your Zkeys. 5k a key 20 keys are easy to obtain. So its atleast 100k per account on average per month. This can go on for months the gift that keeps on giving.. instead of one time gold purchase. Not to mention the extra benifits of storage space. The only downside is the market determines z key prices. After all you can find one of the guild wars campaigns on sale somewhere not even paying full price when they were released.
I wonder if anet intended something like this to happen. Make themselves more money by selling games. Or if they see this as a problem they intend to fix. Customize keys to your character would ruin this zkey extravaganza that is going on. After all this almost is like buying some of the guild wars titles, drunkard, sweet tooth, party, skill hunter, lucky/unlucky etc.
Why buy GW gold when you can...

I presume the people who have the RL money to spend on 1000p every now and again have no reason to be concerned with taking the more difficult (but effective) way out.
I've never been a fan of buying gold, not because of in-game implications, but because I just don't understand why people would spend real money to get fake money. That goes with also buying extra accounts just to make more fake money. Just seems like rubbish to me, but I guess people who have a surplus of money look at it differently.

tourny points???? no idea WHO to pick, etc....
I pve ONLY have no idea what guilds are 'in' etc...so playing the game is how I make money (and none of that raptor farming, uw farming stuff just plain old quests and missions).....
BUT if you want to tell me WHO to pick etc I would be more than happy to deal with an extra z key or two.....

1) buying fake money with real money, that you can use for better things, is stupid.

That means you can get 1 of any set of armor per month without trying (barring obsid or vabbian). Personally I think its not worth spending ANY rl money for ig money, but I use my friends account which i inherited for it.

The best way to look at it is that it is 100K per month per account EXTRA. Not in total. I make 300-400K a month probably. It's easy to spend, it's easy to save. In the end.. Another 100K isn't a bad thing, but it's not worth 30 bucks to me to initiate something that's gonna be old news in a few months. This would have been a good idea last year.

100k is for one account. for $20 or less you can buy another guild wars game thats now 200k a month. Money for doing next to nothing is crappy huh. Less work than farming, less work than power selling... plus its gold on top of whatever u do.
3 accounts is 300k a month etc.
Its so easy to do predictions just pick the top ten GvG guilds or gut feeling. 1v1 hero battles who knows there just randomly pick some unless you are in the pvp crowd and know whos name is who that week.

That's easy, just look at the last two months Tournament results, and the guild ladder.
The 1vs1 is harder to predict, but again the last 2 results + hero battle ladder give a rough idea.
I did this last month for the 1st time, made 110k per account.

Well we can see that you didn't read the OP. He didn't say anything about changing the predictions...
Anyways, farming UW is boring. I thought about getting another account or two just for the predictions, but that seems like a waste of money to me at the moment.

Posting an idea to an alternative way of obtaining Guild Wars gold is a nice gesture and all, but when mentioning the fact that this is a better method instead of purchasing Guild Wars gold through illegal means is honestly a no-no. Never have I made any tournament predictions whatsoever. Other than the fact I find the very idea behind it rather stupid, there's really nothing in this game I need. Or want. All of the "high-end" items look horrible to me and I do not feel the urge to throw my e-peen around. Since I'm not spending money, I'm just hoarding it. Amount of gold in my stash has increased by 250K in 3 weeks. The only problem I have is the lack of storage for items and gold. Can't understand why anyone would need more than 100K a month just to get by.

(Just suggesting - I haven't followed my own advice yet. I guess I don't need money THAT bad ... Although since we might see the AFK-rings sometime soon again - and I do need like 300k to get me through that weekend ... it would be the smart idea to start doing this ...)
