Why buy GW gold when you can...

I was thinking the other day about people that buy guild wars gold online from places. Why risk it when all you really have to do is buy another guild wars campaign and put in tourny predictions then sell your Zkeys. 5k a key 20 keys are easy to obtain. So its atleast 100k per account on average per month. This can go on for months the gift that keeps on giving.. instead of one time gold purchase. Not to mention the extra benifits of storage space. The only downside is the market determines z key prices. After all you can find one of the guild wars campaigns on sale somewhere not even paying full price when they were released.

I wonder if anet intended something like this to happen. Make themselves more money by selling games. Or if they see this as a problem they intend to fix. Customize keys to your character would ruin this zkey extravaganza that is going on. After all this almost is like buying some of the guild wars titles, drunkard, sweet tooth, party, skill hunter, lucky/unlucky etc.

People are too lazy to set up GWx2 or use another computer/laptop.

Not to mention you most of the time don't even get points... or the wrong amount of.

because 100k a month is butkiss. 100k/31 days = just short of 2k a day. 2k/24hours in a day, well you should see whee im going with this. All in all its a pretty crappy way of making money. And how the hell can anyone live on 100k a month? jeez thats crappy

More like 144 zKeys per day.

Some of us can quite happily manage on 100k a month + whatever we make off regular play and the occasional farm run. Not everyone has to get the latest overpriced weapon skin, minipet, everlasting tonic, or PVP-clone armor combo.

I presume the people who have the RL money to spend on 1000p every now and again have no reason to be concerned with taking the more difficult (but effective) way out.

I've never been a fan of buying gold, not because of in-game implications, but because I just don't understand why people would spend real money to get fake money. That goes with also buying extra accounts just to make more fake money. Just seems like rubbish to me, but I guess people who have a surplus of money look at it differently.

I pve ONLY have no idea what guilds are 'in' etc...so playing the game is how I make money (and none of that raptor farming, uw farming stuff just plain old quests and missions).....

BUT if you want to tell me WHO to pick etc I would be more than happy to deal with an extra z key or two.....

I don't really play the game and make ~300k+ per month. I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

1) buying fake money with real money, that you can use for better things, is stupid.
2) z-keys= money, more than one account= plenty of money.
3) VERY FEW PEOPEL NEED MORE THAN A 100K A MONTH JUST TO LIVE.

That means you can get 1 of any set of armor per month without trying (barring obsid or vabbian). Personally I think its not worth spending ANY rl money for ig money, but I use my friends account which i inherited for it.

The best way to look at it is that it is 100K per month per account EXTRA. Not in total. I make 300-400K a month probably. It's easy to spend, it's easy to save. In the end.. Another 100K isn't a bad thing, but it's not worth 30 bucks to me to initiate something that's gonna be old news in a few months. This would have been a good idea last year.

yeah but carnage last year alot more ppl were playing so it was alot easier to make money then.

Because a second account costs money, but I found the complete edition for £24.99 which I might buy for a second account

zzzz too much effort to do this. Easier just to trade a couple things and make money from that.

My god, i don't even think i've seen that much in a year!

Lemme guess, couple of Guilds spread over the eight accounts, a character from each account joins more than one team (leaving one team to join another, but still getting credit for the original team), afk the battle...collect the keys. I'm sure that there is more to it...
