Halloween ended early?

Nice of you admit it, mistakes happen because well when people and computers meet this tends to happen.

Happy to offer up the Uk holiday on November 5th as an extra festival although not sure if a festival based around an oppressed religious minority trying to blow up a government is a good subject for celebration.
Although we do celebrate the failure.

Why not just add the costume brawl to the next festival it seems to have been a popular and having some kind of drop at the same time would be good too.

well with the 3 hours that we all missed due to the sever being down i think we should be at least rewarded with some of that.

Not just the UK. We celebrate it here in Newfoundland as well. And it actually would be a nice event.

And not to say I wasn't disappointed about the Hallowe'en event ending early but it is really nice when ppl do realize they have made a mistake and apologize. Thanks Anet.... lot of other places would prolly have denied the mistake lol

If anyone pays attention, though it says things end at 11:59pm PST Nov 2nd, it also says down below that at the stroke of midnight Nov 2nd, that festivities conclude. By ANet's account... that would be the minute after 11:59 PM PST Nov 1st. Looks like they mistated themselves up top and put the appropriate information down below. As far as their reputation, I'm sure one little mishap isn't going to hurt ANets rep. Considering all we do is buy the game and that's it and we aren't paying a monthly fee like WoW or LOTRO, we can't really complain all too much. Definately sounds of QQing to me.
