hey all...

new to playing PvE 'sins so was wanting some help with builds...

I would like it to be deadly arts based - I like the skills xD

reqs:

NOT AP - I will lynch anyone who posts AP builds
deadly arts as primary skill line
good enough for vanqs etc.
2nd prof. is irrelevent - post anything I can change as I actually get through the game :P

The best Damage Dealers skills in Deadly Arts are signets, so try to abuse them :S

The only thing that Deadly Arts can do efficiently is the Signet 'Sin and... Assassins' Promise.

Doesn't [deadly paradox] disable most skills on the bar?
Maybe it's better to go [deadly haste], but you have to invest some point into crit strikes.
Allso take a look at [disrupting dagger] and [impale].
[assassin's promise] as elite, allso works great with several pve only skills.

Deadly Arts is a PvP line, [assassin's promise] lets you take a PvP chain into PvE and still get some use out of it. Meh. Recharges are a &%*(^*% indeed.

[keystone signet]? [signet of midnight][signet of shadows]? Mesmer seems the most likely secondary so far... take [cry of pain] while you're at it

Deadly arts in pve isnt that great. If you had to use something I would go with Shadow Prison, Iron Palm, Stonesoul Strike, Entangling Asp, Stonesoul's Copy (cant remember name), signet of toxic shock and finish him. It works better with Assassins Promise, but I suppose it could work here as well.

2) It doesnt use deadly as its primary attribute
3) Its pretty meh anywayz, a 6 skill chain with no IAS and no reliable deep wound, and no chance of survivability. (Yes fang has deepwound, but triggering it is unreliable, and running a 10 second "spike" is crap.

ONOEZ! You dont like AP...I cant believe that you hate the most ossum skill in deadly arts line! Without it your deadly arts build will never be as effective.

Dont be a fool and run something like:

And at least support you party in some way thru pi or if you are really freakish and dont want AP try:

Infinite energiez are gud...I think. Fit [you move like a dwarf], [disrupting dagger] or [crippling dagger] into optionals.

Creativity and efficiency are concepts that of which are distant from each other.

Certain bars types have certain rules, and your bar doesn't follow many of them. Heck, they aren't even relevent to the thread.

^false. and the build he posted was fine. it had repeatability, teleport in, teleport out, snare, big damage, kd, and deepwound. not everything, but most of the good stuff. and it had 2 deadly arts skills so it's not completely irrelevant to the thread.

GoR Shadow Fang isnt a bad build, the bar he posted was bad. But this is irrelevant because its not primarily focused on a deadly arts bar.

Oh and Cyntheria, relying on a deepwound thats going to come like 3-4 seconds after your spike is pointless. They are either dead at that stage or healed such that DW does nothing.

Actually, thinking about shadow fang, maybe that old shadow prison build that was run in sinsplit.

Shadowfang has no aftercast, which is why its better then dark prison. Especially since its pve, its nice to not hang out in the frontline when you dont have to.

PvE sin not focusing on dagger attacks(particularly ms db) and is not an assacaster...
Yeah, A/Mo with Mending. Stick a few pve only skills on it to make it imba :P

Thing is, after an update meta changes and good skill combos get spotted and running public right away so your idea of creativity, e.g. running bad builds is flawed.
