what pets are available, and what are their pro's & cons?

also, I remember hearing a while ago (i recently came back to playing) that points in beast mastery is fairly useless, is this true?

They are all basicly the same. Some do peircing damage some slashing, some blunt. Next time do a search there is a great thread all about it.

i find it useful sometimes but i rarely use it cause the pets are really dumb (stupid a.i.)
