Story n 1

Year 2006 1-2 weeks after factions released

There i was just bought GW factions i wanted to play it cause my brother played GW prophecies and GW factions was in store so i bought that.

I entered shing jea monastary as a total noob my main character then was assassin(later changed to warrior). I knew a little about gw and now i know alot of it i got some nice titles some nice friends,a very nice guild (which sadly has become inactive and has fallen prey to various other MMORPG mostly WoW) My knowledge and experience increased by someone, someone called Robin Hooddy(or something like that i haven't seen him for a year sadly .) When i was in shing jea we talked, he was the first person i talked too. He created a guild and he even made me officer. I loved Guildwars, i started recruiting but sadly someone who wanted to be officer kicked half of the guild. I played with Robin Hooddy alot, we went together to minister cho estate, eliminating the crimson skull who were roaming the island. We purged the estate of afflicted and etc... I wonder became of him, last time i saw him i was still a newbie and look now i know alot about guildwars, i got nice armour and i've progresses alot in my goals.

So Robin Hooddy if you're reading this(probaly not) Thank you for all the things we've done, it was a wonderfull time.

Story 2

This is a story that i'm writing to my guild(which i mentioned above). It's the guild where i've been for 70% of my guildwars time. They are VERY helpfull and i'm mentioning the officer Taarna Tarakian(sadly plays WoW now but gets sometimes on guildwars) When i needed help she helped whenever she could , she helped everyone when she could. She is very helpfull,friendly, and she gives stuff away that she doesn't need instead of selling it.

I got my guardian title because mostly of the guild. I couldn't do it alone without them.

Wishlist: 300 ectoes

In my heart is some special person I met in GW. 2 years ago Iused to go to UW farming some ectoes with my SS necro. One day i found some preson who was willing to farm there with monk. Nick of this person was Sara of Healing (This is the hero of my story). I started to farm with this person but after few days accidently i revealed she is a girl!!!. I was very surprised about that cuz usually not so many girls play games or games like Guild Wars. I was very happy and it was beggining of our freindship. We used to play many times in many places in whole GW world. I am from Poland, she lives in Slovenia but it wasn't reason we could get close friends. Few times we hvae had some argue, when i thought its over, but when we made clear all things we found we are stronger in our relationship. One day we sent our pics to each other and I faund that girl got most amazing eyes in the world!! I could fall in real love to her if I only could settle in Slovenia. I dream to get that ectoes cuz i would like to share it with her. She could be realyhappy and could find how important is she for me. It's not only frindship in game, it's somethng more but for now i cant prove it in better way than giving her some valuable gift. If You are moved of this rea story i can show You via pm her amazing eyes, or even introduce You to her in game.

I have played gw for 3 years without any greater help, but few weeks ago, i met another player, cant remember her name. She was selling a superior vigor for 5k so i went to buy it, and i asked why she was selling it for so cheap, she said that she was gonna quit playing gw. So i just said to her as a joke that she could give me all her stuff, and then, she just traded me and gave me 100k.
I really wasn't expecting that. I thanked her and never saw her again.

Lemme tell you a bit about my buddy Nate (IGN: Healing Massacure)...Met him last year in a "throwaway" guild I had just joined. Immediately we became friends because of his great attitude and sense of humor. I can't tell you how many times he's run me, or tried to lvl me (that was and interesting evening! XD ) We've been there for each other even through RL issues..My job and marital problems, his school and girlfriend problems. He's a great friend even though we've never met in RL. I've been trying to farm the cash and ectos for a voltaic spear for him for christmas, but the farming is very slow. I'm gonna keep trying because he deserves it! Happy Holidays!!!

I'm asking this for only a reason: we were 3 people to play all the time togheter, doing missions, clearing areas on hm and whatever. 3 months ago, one of this friend, hacked the other by 1000k, 40e and 22zkeys. He stopped gw for about 2 months (normal) and he came back about 2 weeks ago. Now I really want to help him, but i don't have money.... he's at 28 maxed titles and with that money, he could get his God title like me...really, any amount is good to help him, i'm farming every week at raptors to get money for him....ty for help

i always wanted everlasting beetle tonic or 1-300 ectos

when playing an online game theres always this 1 special person u meet. Ya know the one who your most comfortable speaking to, if you give stuff to them u wont care about loseing money or anything cause u really like this person. Also that person is the one you would play wit the most and want to play with the most even if its something stupid.

I have that 1 friend who i do alot with and tell pretty much everything to. stories, desires, porn, anything. I am not afraid to be who i am around him. Also if i give him something i wont care cause he is part of me. Him and i are 1. WE are a team and i do care for him.

he changed me like i changed him.....we pretty much corrupted each other haha we say some pretty random stuff.

so that 1 friend is probably something we should all have.

honesly i rather have a friend like him then alot of meh friends who dont give a crap about me.

so if he ever quit i probably would find some other game to play.

btw i really dont care bout the amount of ectos and just wanna say i found a friend in gw which ill never gonna see , at least i think so that lives in rome like a few kilometres from my house,same age and same interestsm the problem is he knows too many things bout me now lol, that i never said to any1, he helped me alot with my girlfriend eventhough his suggestions made me lose her lol, we get along just fine and he's the only person i dont know who i would give everything on gw( only^^), i already gave him my account this summer( i gave away everything except armour and personal weps)^ but i found interest again in gw and he just gave it back with np,hes italian as i am and at the beginning helped me alot with the money part lol, then i nearly arrived at his amount cause im a better player than him lol^.
if u wanna know his name i think theres even an old video of him on youtube (his name is x war devil x) hes just great but a bit snobby like lol.

My wishlist isn't that much as 300e... just a tormented caster set was it
spear + shield i've been saving up this far to 30e so i only need 70e more
to complete it and i would go into christmas with big smile.


Special someone:
is mostly all players i met during the 33 months i play
they all did mean something in completing my gw story.

It's nice to see people donating if i had that much i would do it to
but since i don't i can't but i always help people who know me on
almost everything.

4/5 FoW armor set -> anywhere between 1-105 ecto's and shard's for the 4 ranger armor pieces.; all bits help .


As for making my time better, it hasnt really been a seperate person but an entire guild back in plain ol' prophecies called [UGUK]. Were great days for pvp, always great laughs. There werent really stricts requirements on pvp which always kept it fun. The rating wasnt the best most of the time, making great fights.
Fighting 2-3 wammo's and 4 hencies causing our monks to start fighting in melee because they wouldnt go down (not like they had damage output)... meeting iway and watching the catapult rip them apart. Watching opponents not canceling frenzy and wondering why they died so fast. Happy toughts.
Or watching the opposing guild name being asian and getting shredded apart with minutes. Not so happy toughts.
Regretfully all good things come to an end, so did this guild after bad judgement by the guild leader about his IRL 'friends' that tore the guild apart after getting their officer promotion. Its still however a good time to remember.

I am not entering this for myself, but in the hope of getting a x-mas present for two of my ingame friends and guildies. They are the main reason, I still play after achieving most of my goals.

Core Dumper and Destiny of Avalon from my guild are good friends, whom I spend a lot of time playing and chatting with.
Both are the kind of person, who will help others without expecting anything in return.
They treat newcomers (both to the guild and game) with a kindness, patience and helpfulness that make people feel welcome.

These days, they are both trying to get the consumable titles maxed, meaning that they are constantly broke.

Since both have helped me on my way to the GWAMM title, I hope to surprise them each with a little ecto present to spend on Eggnogs, Snowman Summoners, and Fruitcakes, in case I win.

I have no set amount,- anything will a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated.

To put it bluntly, I don't wish for anything Knowing me, I'd probably end up giving most of it away to friends anyway. xD I Don't like farming, or waiting around trying to sell things, so most of the time I just... give them away. Though, if I did win, I'd probably keep it in storage... using that money to buy gifts for new friends I make. ^^ I strangely seem to meet people new to guild wars (less than a week of playing) fairly often. And it's always nice to help them out... It doesn't really have to be much, but I know that getting a jump-start to max armor, some skills, a weapon or two... And some help, really helps people out in the game.

Though, if I had to single one person out, I'd say that Jess is special ^^ Ever since I met her, she has been a great friend... Always helping out her own friends, guildmates, alliance members... Why just recently she gave away (I think it was 40k?) worth of gold and materials to a friend of hers that had gotten something rotten happen to her account... Which to me, is special and deserves a gift. But honestly, I commend you for doing such a thing. It's far too often you see people who care only of themselves... Actually, wouldn't that make you the most deserving of your own Giveaway? ^^ Seems to me that the person most deserving of your 300e giveaway... is you. n_n

So, a person that i met? Hmm lets see...
When i met him, he was a "new" player, with 1 years on guild wars. He didn't know anything of GW. I asked him to join our guild. I helped him through Nightfall, EON...etc. He was rly kind, and nice. I teached him for powertrade, a lot of farming technique. He was "growing up in GW". Now we play a lot together, and it makes me happy, i never bored in GW. I buyed him a nice Minipet for xmas, i hope he will like it:P

Use: I run many large scale events for the community, and these things are not cheap, coming up is "King Frost's Wintersday,Seasons end" (you will find it on Guru events section) and my last offical event before i retire from creating events for over 3 years.

It all started in the early days of Guild Wars (2005), when Wintersday floated in to the eager and unknowing gamers screens, when players openly marveled at how pretty the ruined Ascalon looked, when a NPC stated "This snow will at least keep the Charr back for a while", when players came together proudly wearing there Yule Caps and simply enjoyed each others company, when players that have become jaded still had simple fun doing things for the first time. That was when i first found the joy that the community could gift me when they reacted to my simple 100 gold give outs, not in-game presents but kind words. Gradually, i started to make more and more friends, all who where like minded in helping the community have fun and remind them that not everyone is out to beat them, and so with this idea in mind i formed many small events to cater for my love of making people happy, especially at holidays. It really hit off When Wintersday 06 arrived, i was ready. I came to Lions arch Europe English 1, i always remember it, a few at first but as the days progressed more and more until i had a district waiting for me each night. It is only a game but on those nights i knew what i wanted to do with a good portion of my time playing Guild Wars, and so Daniel Frozenwind started to change from my main, to a snowman guise and with my virtual character i flourished, a year passed and things went well, each event was surpassing each other, but then came a point where i had to make a choice, it is my belief i have inspired a good number of people to make there own events and expand on what i have tried to do, but everyone needs to start somewhere right? That’s why i have put over 15 months of planning into this one grand event, and then i shall bow out and help the community from the background, helping a budding event maker here, giving tips there and actually playing the game. Frozenwind will have his finest hour this Wintersday for it is a special year for me in real life, and in-game.The theme of this event as always is to bring the community together at Wintersday.There is no business, like snow business.

I honestly cant pick one, i have found some absolute gem's in this game, i.e
people trusting me with borrowing there everlasting tonics for a theme at an event, offering support when most needed, friendly advice to me and other players ect, to them i say thank you and its a pleasure calling them my friends.

I was anxious for this Guild War holiday season to finally arrive, but this joy and happiness is now gone as I have found out that the person I wrote about in my poem (Stza Erza) is now gone from this world forever. I had a special bond with him that not many others can speak of. We spent countless hours, thousands together on vent having great times. I will never again experience this and this has rendered me virtually inconsolable. It is a shame that everyone who knew him will have to spend this holiday season with this in the back of their minds. My poem's wish will never come true and I am very saddened and wish this had never happened.

More Added:
Just wanted to add that I have recently had the urge to create a memorial character in my friends honor, a replica of his favourite and most played character. Hopefully over the holiday season I will be able to recreate his monk as it once was.
