PAX has GW events.

Just before Factions came out, AN came to GenCon in Indianapolis to run some sealed deck tournaments. It was a fun time. That was the last time there was a non-West Coast N. America event.

I know that the travel logistics make venues other than Seattle/West Coast tricky. I just hope that there are enough podcasts/videos to give some vicarious sense of fulfillment.

being free to play, GW is actually played by not only a LOT of couples, but also small family units too

I don't believe they sell beer in Gamebase, so a sojourn to a nearby watering hole may be required.. We'll need 2 monks, a tank, an ele, 2 Necros... Martin will be the one with the quest marker
