He is there in Gwen's garden outside Eye Of The North, but NOT if Gwen - hero, or otherwise - is in your party. 1 gift per chromatic scale. Just don't take Gwen along or have a quest that spawns her in the garden active.

Yep, battlerdepths from central transfer chamber; there are 6 large groups (and a couple of wisp groups), generally dropping 1 per group. Easy enough with SOS, though if you do get killed the res shrine is not far.

It's convenient, you can at the same time farm the wisps for Piles of Elemental Dust which Nick will ask for again eventually.

if you take care to aggro only 1 of the ethers at a time, the sapphire djinn essence can be farmed in Hidden city, first room, with a 55 Mo/D like this:

The wiki suggests farming the 3 bosses that can be found in the area going to Nick http://www.guildwiki.org/Stone_Carving.
Ran that 3 times with no Carving drops.
I had better luck in Morostav Trail outside Durheim Archives, with 12 Stone Dudes available (yellow dots).
Some builds can no doubt solo the run, I used SoS & Heroes.
Cleared to the first set with Heroes and then flagged them off compass.
Spawned the first 2 Stone Dudes & dispatched them.
Called the Heroes back and cleared the left side of the central area.
Flagged the Heroes off compass again.
Spawned and dispatched the other 10 Stone Dudes.
The last 6 are direction dependent spawns, so pass through the gate & back up to spawn them.
Drop rate was from 1 to 3 Carvings per run.
Ran that 3 times with no Carving drops.

A little bittersweet for me, since this may be last Nick trip. He is in Prophet's Path, collecting 2 minotaur horns per gift.

It may be the last most of us participate in, but I imagine Nick will show up somewhere next week. I have a character with nothing but Nick items and another 20 odd items elsewhere, yet these things....nope.

I'll also play GW1 for Nick gifts when the farm isn't too tedious, or I have the item readily available. The mino horns aren't too tough a farm, though. One or two minotaur clears of Prophet's Path can get them all.
