Me neither. I used to solo farm that quest all the time in HM, in the days when splinter weapon hit all adjacent. Still have the Vampiric Feathered Flatbow of Demonslaying I used to use. Masks a-plenty back then.

Went to Nundu Bay instead, got 10 masks, went to the location... the dude isn't there. I have neither "The Cold Touch of the Past" nor "The Hallowed Point" quests. The only Nightfall quests open were "Mallyx the Unyielding", "The Oddbodies", and "Battle of Turai's Procession".

I tried the Nundu Bay Quest and didn't get many masks. I had better luck in a worm doing that SS/LB HM run from the Remains of Sahlahja.

BTW, the Traveler was right where we was supposed to be in the Poisoned Outcrops.

Did you finish the first of those but not take the second? According to the wiki, if you have done "Cold Touch" then Nick will not appear until you've also done "Hallowed Point". You must do both or neither.

Yeah, that was it. When the Traveller wasn't there... the glowing Hallowed Point ring WAS (even though I didn't have the quest). So I took quest, completed it, took reward, rezoned and went again... there's the Traveller.

10 rockets, 5 mysterious summoners, 5 mysterious tonics, 10 hunters ales, 5 conttontail tonics. Bah. Well, there's always next week...

They have fallen dramatically. First off, they've lost their hype. Second, people like me who have decided that the low drop rate of anything good isn't worth the 5-8k. I only do gifts when they're fatally easy like red iris flowers.

Considering how much money people made making a fortune on last photoshop-hoax (even a crappy one), I would be surprised if someone didn't try this again. Even though you could make huge money on this, remember it's still an exploit of game mechanics and you never know when Anet gets a bloody tooth

No. Exactly 1 hour. Z-quests in my timezone rotate at 6PM. Nicholas moves at 5PM. 1 hour. Please edit the start post to reflect this to avoid rumours.

I think Temple explorable up in the area with the Jade Brotherhood and a Merchant NPC would be a good spot. There is a little found quest available up there, and a 'village' of sorts that would be a good spot to take Prof Yak. And of course he could be collecting Jade Bracelets.

that was definitely not the case when it was at 1st and 2nd wk...he didnt move 1 hr b4 zquests. if they changed it thats good. point was confirming that he moved so ppl can start searching.
