Finally went out yesterday and Rt/R the skelk, first run I got 14 claws and then on the on the way to him I got a couple more.
Got 5 crates of fire works and then the usual summoning stones.
Still waiting for the Gwen Doll/VDS or an EL tonic to sell.

I've been having terrible luck farming these...got a few while in a full H/H group going to Umbral Grotto, but trying to solo farm them with my Rit I've gotten nothing so far. Bleh.

It looks like solo Spirit Spamming works the best...does anyone have the basic Spirit Spam solo build for a necro? Or any profession with variants.

thats what I used to kill most of the skelk and got 20 claws in 3 runs. Havent tried killing the boss though you can however kill all of the wind riders on the bridge.
Basically everything dies fast except when you get the groups with the 5 smite skelks. So all you have to do is spam summon spirits and move them whenever they cast symbol of wrath and balths aura.
For a necro just drop the spawn attribute for soul reaping and drop boon of creation for signet of lost souls.

How are you using that build? With all the enchants up I continually die from the degen, as the skills don't recharge fast enough.

just throw up enchants use a +20% enchant staff or other weapon. use GoR +ether for nearly 200 hp heal and a second skill such as sliver or stoneflesh for another 105 heal.
If you remember to keep up mantra for the continues +2 energy and use Glyph whenever its recharged you wont die.
No question however the one group of all afflicted will make ya work the buttons awful hard lol.

600/smite with a guildie, i had 11 from solo farming 3 runs maybe, he got 15 in 2 with me..

) and i would leave out boon of creation and add either Armour Of Unfeeling or Spiritleech Aura, since if they do happen to get hit [even with summon spirits in bar] they will gain some of the health back. It's very effective and useful.Just aload of rubbish for me this week, blue rock.. mysterious summoning stones+tonics etc..

My guess is that he will be in a location meaningful for the nightfall campaing, like Tihark Orchard or something like that... Nightfall for sure, with a quite difficult item to obtain but not like sapphire djinn essence ( Omg, what a pain ! ).
After much thinking, we could also argue that he could be again in EoTN, because his last trips were NF,NF, Fac, Fac, Proph, Proph, EoTN.

because they got separated for some reason?
Maybe running away from a local fight or something like that or they had a falling out over Mary Malone and you have to talk to the both of them to patch things up
