I think he is moving to Cantha slowly. Didn't he say he is visiting Cantha every now and then in Pre-Searing?
The only way to go from Ascalon to Cantha is a ship in LA. And you have to go through nothern Shivers to get to LA. I think he'll be in Northern Kryta Province next.

I already had 60 or so bolts of linen saved up before and I managed to get another 60 before they risen above 190 gold. Hopefully I'll make a bit off them if they go high enough.

People were selling the linen for 1K+(though it didn't seem anyone was buying at that price), so I just swooped in and took the chance to sell them all quickly at 500g, my price probably seemed a lot more fair in comparison.

I had 13 linen in storage and bought 2 for 200 each from the trader before the sell out. I never got anything uber from the gifts though.

Sweet, thanks for the directions Winter,all i got were 10 cottontail tonics,5 mysterious summoning stones,5 mysterious tonics and some fireworks , still cant complain , i still have 70 linen that will be worth a fortune by the end of the week

A good thing to note is that a lot of the armour drops from enemies salvage into linen. Most notably Am Fah capes and Jade Brotherhood garbs since all types of those enemies drop them.
Farming them could be a good way to make platinum this week.

Wow, linen's completely sold out. Hopefully no one needs any for armor this week. Tempted to turn my plant fibers into linen and sell it.

Did you know that dolyaks will abandon a calf if they perceive it to be weak? Yup, it's true, and it's actually extremely common among their species. I know it seems cruel by our standards, but I imagine that they believe it keeps their bloodlines strong. And who would argue?
It's also the most likely explanation for why Yakkington was alone when I found him, here in this very place. He was as white as the snow itself, but that was hardly surprising, since all dolyak calves are born that way. The poor thing was huddled up against these rocks, but he wasn't actually the one in trouble; I was. I had been nearly blinded by a blizzard for hours and couldn't make heads or tails of where Yak's Bend was. Luckily I stumbled past him before succumbing to the elements!
I approached carefully, because I knew wild dolyaks were particularly dangerous. As I got closer, he helt my gaze with those warm blue eyes, and I felt completely safe. Though I couldn't explain it, I knew we had an instant connection. So to honor that night, I wish to craft us a nice, warm blanket, hah! Would you, by chance, have 3 Bolts of Linen that I could take off your hands?

from innitial speculation, i think he would appear in the jungles next week, as he traveled from ascalon to north shiverpeaks and would probibly continue going west(as the players would, storyline-wise). either that or her's going south to the south shiverpeaks
