after finally getting my account back thanks to a error on their end. i decide to do nice even though i am nervous about playing on gw now. 
i got a keg,10 normal hunter ales,5 myst tonics,10 rockets and 10 honey. to bad i already got booze,party and sugar on my main maxed out. sorry anet a keg wont make me forget how your banned me by mistake.

I've done MQSC constantly for the last 2 evenings, and not gotten a single one.. so it's not that common a drop, so this will mean moss will be selling for a lot.

BTW, I do notice a pattern where Nicholas is requesting an item that drops from a monster that was part of a previously farmed mob. I actually already have 5 of these ready to go from when we were having to farm Rot Wallows a ways back.

I thought these were a pain when i farmed them for the Canthan new year, so i was saving them up all year already so i wouldn't have to farm them for the new year... I guess i still have to farm them again later then

I'm at a loss figuring out how to solo these things with a monk or ele.
I wish I had a sin there, would probably make my life easier.
Or where, for that matter. Drop rate is really low, I'm tempted to just buy them but that sort of defeats the purpose.

Pongmei Valley, outside Boreas.
Pull the nearest Rot Wallows to the shrine for easy kills (NPCs help). Then kill the nearest Island Guardian with spirits.
Next put your spirits at the top of the cliff near where the first Guardian was (recast or use Summon Spirits). Then you can hit the second Island Guardian with a longbow/flatbow, and the spirits will attack it... without aggroing all its Rot Wallows :-D
Then run to the third Guardian... same thing, put spirits at Longbow range, and you can kill it without aggroing its Wallows.
Resign, repeat. A sprint, a heal, or "I am Unstoppable!" may help to pick up Guardian Moss if it drops.

had 4 moss leftover from the poor guardians that died as a result of my massacring a great many rot wallow last time nick was in the area....sold them for 3.5k ea this morning. If prices remain at that level we would have a profitable nick farming week ahead.
