Graphics of this quality: http://www.xbox.com/en-NZ/games/f/finalfantasyXIII/
Although i doubt FF13 will even have that quality of graphics in its gameplay.
Or maybe the Assassin's Creed graphics, it looked amazing when you got to the top of a tower and it displayed that 5 second cutscene looking over the city.

But fantasy games Usually have their own style of graphics, so GW should be kept individual from the rest, really it just needs that Z-axis, better resolution, less circles that look more like decagons, and some more tweeks here and there.

I want it to look like Runescape.

But seriously, why would I want the sequel of a game to look like anything but what it's a sequel of? GW2 should look like GW, but better.

A bit of everything. A nice blend that suits everyone. A mix of Guild Wars, Aion, WoW, etc. But definitely a gameplay that is different from Guild Wars.

This kind of comment REALLY angers me, because it is this attitude that GW needed to be more "mainstream" that I think contributed to the GW2 effort, and what may be more like WoW. I mean, if you don't like GW gameplay...why are you playing it? Go play WoW if you want that kind of gameplay. If you're referring to how Anet ran GW balance into the ground, then I agree.

/Winthread

I do not want GW2 to look like anything currently out. It should be in the GW style, but it should be significantly better and unique without immulating other MMO's and becoming just another game on a shelf of many. If I want Aion/FFXIII/D3 graphics, then I'll play those.

I dont know if this is possible, as I don't recall seeing it in any game I've played, but I'd like to see skill activation while moving(excluding spell activations, because that would not make sense). This kind of feature I feel would be necessary, seeing as how they intend for skills to work differently in different situations. Such as, you can use Troll Ungent while running away, but it provides less regen per second (bad example).

Remembering when ANEt said, it will be Guild Wars 2..I would say a Grafic like AION, maybe a bit better.
ANet got the License of Umbra Software's "occlusion culling".

I just realized GW2 is going to have to be VERY good looking to compete nowadays. Things have changed since Guild Wars prophecies.

I wouldn't describe GW as "simple." It has a unique style though - not cartoony as WoW, but more stylized than Age of Conan or Warhammer.

Warhammer was just ugly to look at, which was a shame (at least, last time I played). AoC looked nice, but in some ways felt more unrealistic than Guild Wars!

I think many MMOs try too hard to look "realistic", not realizing that the more you try to make something look real, the more obvious the flaws are. Our minds do better adjusting to a non-realistic setting, and filling in the gaps, then gazing a hyper-realistic setting, and wondering why things don't seem quite right...

Like Guild Wars, otherwise computer probably won't be able to run it and my money continues to go to Blizzard.

Like the original Everquest when it was first released. That or Ultima Online. Or Pitfall for the Atari.

It would be nice if GW2 looked like a game worth playing.

So far, not so much.

Like guild wars except with a TON of more updates, better graphics, and a better storyline, and with z-axis.

I'm having flashbacks to that series of comics in Ctrl-Alt-Del where Ethan tried to design the most comprehensive BEST. GAME. EVAH (and ended up failing/pissing people off because it was impossible)

I don't like the addition of the Z-Axis. I am hoping they scrap that idea or it proves so unpopular it is forced out.
