Got me through pre ok.

warrior/ranger, but in the middle of kryta i found out that i just had to get the warrior/monk wammo build for pure ownage, didn't know i could change secondary professions back then so i rerolled. Warrior would have been over four years now oO

Some N/Mo that tried to mix Blood and Healing Magic. I think I only managed to play it to the Maguuma Jungle before I left it behind for a R/W with axe attacks.

W/Me Almost 4 years ago. with Conjure Phantasm (that mesmer degen skill) and a sword. And after that I became one of the first legendary Wammo's.

Ah the good old days before elites were needed and a blue/purple weapon max damage was good enough. err atleast untill sorrows furnace came out. then factions came along and killed pvp and the cool prophecies character selection screen at the camp.

I ran a R/N.....i like the pet, and the ability to heal yourself with touches....(my friend ran minions) so we were pretty safe

those were good times, enjoyed the storyline and the game way more when playing with a roomate

R/Me, my damage came from conjure phantasm.Lol.

I capped 100 blades 2 days after launch when it was still available near ascalon and ran a 100 blades/conjure build. It had sever,gash,final thrust. Carried 3 different elemental swords it was actually pretty effective for the timeline I thought.

Bought the game because of ranger's nature rituals. So, of course, my first guy was a ranger.
Was running around, ended up in the catacombs and then raised my first stiffy.
Was never the same again. Deleted the ranger and made a necro that actually made it over to post.
Minions were what I lived for back then. Then I got halfway though the game and just got bored. I was thinking of quitting but then discovered Curses and so began my GW fascination with non-damaging offensive skills.

I was a R/E... I started off acting like an Ele all the time until someone yelled at me and said that if i wanted to be an Ele just delete this character and start an ele. So then I just went out and bought a bigger bow (as big as you can get in Pre that is). I still use that toon today for running and trapping etc. He is like the ol man of the family.

My very first character was a Ranger, but she never made it out of Pre-Searing. My second was a N/Me and I still play her daily. I can't remember her original build but I'm sure it was something very minion-y. XD

My first was a N/Me made in beta doing blood magic with empathy, back fire (3 second cast what what), conjure phantasm and probably something else that didn't fit.

Funny thing is I still have the necro and I still haven't beaten prophecies with it (not exactly my favorite char, but I'm trying to get into it more)

I used the first chain you get which is Unsuspecting, Fox Fangs and Twisting Fangs and then also use Teinai's Heat and Fire Storm, with Shadow Refuge, Shroud of Darkness and Res signet >_>

I was corrected quickly by a forum, and started using Jagged Strike, Wild Strike, Death Blossom, Critical Strike, Shadow Refuge, Critical Defenses, Critical Eye, Res Signet

I've actually preserved the character I played the very first time I got Guild Wars, it's on a different account. It still has my build from way back and everything.


Level 6 E/Me, never went farther than Ascalon.
3 Domination, 2 Air, 3 Fire, 3 E-storage.

Flare, Aura of Restoration, Conjure Phantasm, Ether Feast, Armor of Earth, Frozen Burst, Lava Font, Ward against Elements.


This character is some 45 months old, I played maybe 5 hours on it. I have no idea what I was thinking, but it's fun to look back and see how things went back then.
