well you may say that golds arent scaled, but after doing the keg farmer for a while then switching to this for a while i found that they appear to be scaled Of course, with your little experience you can explain droprates, ain't that convenient. If you read the post from the guy who farmed raptors and vaettir so much that he has stacks of tomes and glacial stones, you will notice that he too says killing stuff one by one is total nonsense when it comes to better drops. Even the OP says that you get 1-2 golds a run on average, which is the same number as it was before kegging was nerfed. Of course, this number may vary every time you kill a mob, as it's completely random, but the average droprate remains the same. But be my guest, run this if you want, I know I will be getting more stuff and that's what counts.

So would the basic bird farm build work A/E with Standard and Sliver and let them kill themselves? Well u can, but I wouldn't recommend it due to the extremely high armor vs ele-dmg they got. Just using sliver means you'd spend some 10 mins per round just to kill one of the spawns. Not worth it imo when this method is way faster

can i just point out that the whole point of this thread wasnt about the speed at which you can do things, but about the potentially higher drop rates of doing it a different way What do you want more of? I will agree you seem to get more white drops but only a few, definately no more golds and i would also guess no more event items either.

could you explain this a little more? need anything special? what ranks are required, I created my sis only for farming so it dosent have very high ranks in any titles (except norn of course :S) nothing special.
