i got a code 045 after playing for a few hours yesterday. i havent done anything wrong as far as i know, its a bit odd that it was fine yesterday at 11:00 did some gvg's then come on this morning to a perma blocked account. i have contacted support, but getting no responce. this is a bit annoying as i have recently just purchaced new storage slots and char extreeme makeovers.
its a bit annoying really seeing as i have put 4000 hours of play into this account.

Same thing happened to me, tried this morning and a phat code=045 was thrown in my face. Waiting for answer from support as is..
One thing though (dunno if it might help, but at least gives me some hope that it's the servers that are acting up).. ALL my characters still exists ingame, they still can be added to ppl's friends lists, AND on the NCSoft webpage the account is still listed as "Playable".. So chances are there is a technical issue behind it?
*Hoping 3yrs and 5600+ hours won't get to waste*

arena net is stupid happy now?
this has been happening to more and more players they but slots/char makeovers and BOOM banned
arena net/play ncs reason for this is supposedly u have used a stolen card to do said upgrades
gl dealing with support they are stupid ass morons that have their head so far up each others asses they don't know it's day or dark outside

also a code=045 is not a payment fraud code. code=045 is
"Your account has been suspended from Guild Wars for offensive behavior, which is a breach of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct. You will be able to join the game in approximately X hours."
OR:
"Your account has been banned from Guild Wars for a breach of the User Agreement and/or Rules of Conduct. This ban is permanent."
This code indicates an account mark or a ban. This means you have most likely breached the User Agreement or Rules of Conduct.

I purchased two storage panels yesterday. perm banned within an hr. fixed the problem in June?? i think not. Used the same credit card to puchase skills sets and other storage few months ago no problem. Amazing that they just ban your account without any word as to why. Been playing since GW came out, nice to just have the door slammed in your face without giving a reason.

all i have done is gvg and do missions with 1 friend for the past month lol and, possibly 1 UWSC
i dont see how that breaks any agreements. and i know that i definatly havent broken the agreement since my last ban which was due to a name, so giving me a perma ban makes no sence, and i am going to challenge a net to provide proof that i have done anything wrong lolt
I bought 2 storage panes yesterday and was banned within an hr. I don't think this is something that just happened 1 time during a bank holiday. I think something is seriously wrong with the NCstore. Got quick replies where they asked me for my last four cc number and zip code. Haven't heard a word back since. After 4 years and buying all the games and alot of upgrades, I think I deserve a reason for why I'm being banned. Not just a vague pop-up window when I try to log-in. I have no marks on my record, never been temp banned or anything like that.

I bought a storage upgrade for my gf's account a few weeks back, and she can log on just fine (Both accounts are on the same main NCSoft account). Both the account and CC used have her name on it, thus excluding the "suspected fraud"-idea..
Also, as I posted earlier, the account is still listed as playable and the characters are not deleted/removed.. Shouldn't a permban mark the account as banned? And remove the banned chars to free up server space? My conclusion is still technical error (at least in my case, dunno details about you guys).
Just hoping I won't miss out on the event >.<
Xjel >> Any details on that? Cause been thinking about hacker attempts as well.. And it can be a form of security, name the hacker that will keep trying to get into a banned account over and over? A long shot but heey I'm getting desperate over here XD

Pen, your account being terminated means you have been permanently banned from the game. You can find out more information here on Guild War's banning policies:

You do need to contact support though to work this out. It may take a few days to weeks but they should respond with a reason for the account termination.

Side Note: More and more ppl are yelling wth they were banned, so I'm more and more inclined to believe it's an error somewhere ^_^
