An observation on monk fashion...

Have you noticed every female monk has that same exact hairdo? The one that has ribbons hanging down on each side?

Most do, I guess.

Most are miniature Princess Leia clones

To be fair though, the alternatives on offer really aren't all that good (almost all of them are half shaved)

All the monk hairdo's (that have a full head of hair) have ribbons hanging down the side, if you loook closely the ribbon is tied around the head like a headband.

Buns are one of maybe 3 decent hair choices. I didn't really want those pointed cones or a bee-hive, so I chose the buns. I'm at least proud that I used a face that isn't widely used. I think it's the best face anyway.

Oh and hairy male monks look terrible. If I were Anet i'd put like 5 ways for a male monk to be bald...

No, no, the problem with male monk hairstyles is precisely that all of them are bald to some degree... so going for the all-bald one ends up looking better. If there was a decent non-bald hairstyle for male monks, I wouldn't have made a female monk (who does not have buns or the bee-hive, she has one of the long-hair types).

Same with necros... I can never bring myself to make a male necro. Their grey-ish skin tones all suck, and none of the faces seem to fit the darker skin tones too well. Blue eyes and straight hair abound in GW.

thats because monks are the most godawful ugly class out there. Unless the want to singe their eyeballs the pick that one...

I chose the hairdo with buns and ribbons because I find it to be the best looking hairdo for female monks. And if I'm going to be staring at a character for 400+ hours, it's going to be visually appealing.

Yeah, that! Most classes have sucky hairstyles.

I think its because the whole big bun look is just the most normal looknig out of all the hair sets.

I personally like the off to the side long hair thing. ^^

My monk is stylin with her 15K judges armor set, dyed black.
