I'm sorry about Asphyxiat's story... But there are rules, and I'm not telling anyone anything while the game is running.

The first one which ended really fast, I think I need to crank up the difficulty again. The solution was Beacon's Perch, and winner is, for the second time, Countess Reapera.

Now I'm entering "The Scribe" mode, and will tell you about Random Acts of Kindness. Only one actually, but it really warmed the cockles of my heart. There was a close runner-up to the winner, Erica Bloodaxe, who said that she was playing HHS from the first one, but so far had no luck winning. When Countess Reapera heard that, since she already claimed the prize once, she gave the Gifts to her!

I like doing this game. Great people are playing it.

On behalf of my character Erica Bloodaxe, I would again like to thank Countess Reapera for her generosity. Endrosz failed to mention that he also generously offered me a consolation prize, which I felt I couldn't accept, so the he is also a great person.

(I know it's awkward to use a character's gender, especially when I know that 90% of the players are male IRL, but I have no choice. You know, if it happens just once that I mistakenly call a female gamer a he because I assume that... that will be the end of my life. Winners are advised to tell me their real gender if they're bothered by this.)

So, the first line told enough to narrow down the list of possible places. Snow, junction, it has to be an oft-trafficked mountain outpost. Yak's Bend, Olafstead, Camp Rankor...

But alas, the second line tells about a route to the south which runners use. The only southwards running route in the game is from Beacon's Perch to Camp Rankor and beyond.

The third line refers to a feature and landmark of Beacon's which a lot of people are unaware of: that the place actually has a beacon, high up on hill to the south, past the bridge over the south gate. A beacon is a guiding light for travellers.

I'm a guy but it doesn't bother me too much since it's all in-game and in-character anyway. My female character found it, all I did was press buttons on a keyboard.

another close contest, your reputation as bard is well~deserved, Countess, and a most gracious winner at that :}

keep in mind everyone, that this last riddle was the only one to be solved quickly; all the others involved some waiting, even at Nexus the fortnight before ..
if you think you might have figured Nexus out in ten minutes then you were in with a chance~!

all you future winners reading this, have hope to score yet~!

This Saturday, before we enter the Halloween season, a special HHS game will go down. I've decided to stop running the game, as I'm moving away from Guild Wars, so it became a burden for me.

It's fitting to go out with a loud BANG, so this game will offer 4 prizes: 20 Gifts as usual for 1st place, 15 for 2nd place, 10 for 3rd place, and 5 for 4th place.

If anyone wants to take up running the game, please, go ahead! Smilin' Assassin, my partner-in-riddling is too busy to make such a commitment. You'd better start a new thread, but you can use any resource you find in this thread freely.

5 more days, and 50 Traveller's Gifts will be given away! Come and play!

That's really a shame, I looked forward to your H&S events since they were so much fun (even if you didn't win anything).

I hope to see you this weekend and wish you luck in whatever you're moving on to!

Read the whole thing - brilliant idea, well executed. It's a shame you are leaving Endrosz, Guild Wars needs more players like you!

Well, Peter, you came just in time for the final prize. I hope you'll play - and good luck if you do.

(I just realized that I didn't put up the pic and detailed explanation for the last riddle that I usually provide. I'm sorry, real life kicked me in the ass hard, suddenly there was a lot of work to do in the flat I live in.)

Here comes my debt, before we go into the final game:

The first line refers to the three provinces of Vabbi, which encircle the Grand Temple of Lyss, and the Mirror of Lyss below it. The second and third lines both talk about events told by Morgahn himself in the mission cinematic: the merciless slaughter of the entire priesthood of Lyss, and how all this has affected him. "Reflection" was the strongest clue IMO, and indeed, the winner did think of some kind of mirror.

The solution was Seitung Harbor, the winner was Phrodo P. The runners-up... uhhh... I logged off without making a note or something, so I don't know their names. Sorry! Many people guessed it pretty fast, so the four winners all came to trade me in less than a minute! Cool game, I really enjoyed people running towards me in a race! (I "hid" on one of the piers to make it a little more challenging, I was too far to be targeted by invites from the center of Seitung Harbor.)

So, the first line should guide you towards a place where you leave behind a newbie area. There are a few, but not that many. High peaks and a harbor, that rules out both Istan and Ascalon City, leaving Shing Jea Island. It must be Seitung Harbor. The tall bells are a typical feature of SJI, the one on the pic is a little left to the path that takes you around to Zen Daijun.
