Not surprising that all the expansion professions are low on the list (since most people on guru probably started with an earlier game).

First *real* character was my ele.

I can't believe that in over 2-1/2 years, no one has created a Paragon as their first character.
Guess I can add two guildmates whose first characters were a warrior and an ele.

Stranger The Ranger
Ele, deleted him at level14, created my Ranger, never regretted it.

My first char was a W/E...I thought I'd be invincible AND be able to command the elements, unleashing the mighty fury of firestorms and meteors to smash my enemies.
Then I learned about energy.

My warrior's a W/E, mainly for the Conjure Flame. It's fun to cut off limbs and cauterize them instantly.

Ranger was my first love
and it will be my last.
Ranger of the future
and ranger of the past.
To live without my ranger
would be impossible to do.
In this world of troubles,
my ranger pulls me through.

Also, I'm 'taking care' of 2 other accounts, both started out with Elementalist as first character.
I am sure there are. Just not active on Guru and posting in this thread.

Mesmer. Goodness that was fun. Oh, for 2005-level enjoyment to be back in GW ... :-(
Raven Wing
My first was Ranger, which would have been 4 years by now, but I deleted him later because I thought had messed him up irreparably by bad distribution of attributes. Then warrior which was deleted since it isnt my preferred playstyle.
Third was Hrefna ny nec who is still alive and kicking. Got GWAMM and will be 4 years sometime during August.

This is a pretty poor showing for the number of views on this thread. Though I suppose many of those are guests.
Swoosh
Elementalist because it reminded me of Pokemon and Misty was always my favourite and Staryu too so I play water. I play water for that reason and that I didn't want to be a noobie that just spammed high damage fire spells like people still do now.
yCoRrUpT
Monk/Necromancer, in Prophecies, then recreated it as soon as Factions came out, still have the one in Factions.
Moonstalker
Very first character ever was a Necromancer. Got it to level 3, went Ele. Got it to level 10, went Warrior. It's been 50 months with that warrior now
Expherious
Necro, then ele, then necro, then ele, then warrior.
mrs mindy
Ranger, I loved playing it and there was soooo much you could do. Run, B/P in TOTPK, Slaver's, Urgoz.... rangers were awesome.
LeoX
It was Ranger back in Prophecies
I never got him further than Piken Square.
Then I made my Warrior I think a month after, which has ever since been my main character hehe.

An ele, then deleted him after 3 days or so. Then a warrior, then I remade him, and that remake is still my main to this day.
ИσιR
Warrior! I played him for 5 mins, then remade into a dervish. I am currently planning on making another warrior for GvG purposes.
Darcy
People, people, let's try to at least make 200 responses to give a sample.
Zahr Dalsk
Necromancer. Deleted him several months later and focused on Ritualist, who I've been playing ever since.
Perkunas
When I received the game, Christmas gift 2005, I also received the Guild Wars Official Game Guide. I looked at all the professions and the possible secondaries suggested for each. Decided on W/Mo.
Started game, created the warrior, entered Ascalon City for first time. Moved around town, learning basic movements. Saw the towncrier with the green thingy above his head. Read the quest and accepted, noticed the green arrow on compass and followed it. "Okay that is how it works." Got Tydus's quest, followed the arrow out of town. Did the first quest for the first set of skills. The next guy said to talk to Devona, so I did. Into Ashford Abbey I went. Mapped back to Ascalon City, and talked to Simeon, (I think that's his name.). Followed arrow back to Ashford, killing a handful of skales along the way. Did the monk quest Mhenlo had. Accepted monk as secondary, mapped back to Ascalon, talked to Simeon, then Tydus, and found myself fighting for my life, actually dieing like crazy. Got stomped into the ground by some grawl. (Where the hell is all that healing I am supposed to have had?) Next thing I know, I am standing in a wasteland. I made my way into town and found out where I had been is gone forever for Perkunas I. Logged out, to do some more reading.
Logged back on, this time made a Ranger, with intention of Mesmer secondary. This time, I was a little smarter, I skipped Tydus's Path to Glory quest till later on. Stayed in pre until level 5 and had all the skills I was to have.
Was in a PuG, doing the Iron Horse Mines quests series, when we had a near wipe of the party. A Ranger/Monk was our last one still standing. He beat a retreat and slowly lured and fought his way back to us. He singlehandedly carried that battle, then ressed us all. We finished the quest series, I logged off, deleted my R/Me, rerolled as R/Mo. She will be my first 4 year old.

I started out as a Sin. It was a fun but frustrating series of events I got her to lvl 14, with about 100 deaths to prove my lack of skill... I really thought sins would be able to shadowstep in, kill something fast and shadowstep out... Even secondaried mesmer to be able to confuse my enemies ---> epic fail...
since I kinda liked the hands on aproach I made a warrior as second, and stuck with it for a long long time. About a year and a half ago, when I thought I had enough skill to retry my sin I finally remade her. She became my very first legendary survivor, without farming or kilroy
Sins and noobs do not mix well, sins and average players can be quite usefull indeed :P

Ranger was my first character. It was a great change for me, since I normally play tank/knight classes. I was really tempted to play warrior at the time, but I stopped myself lol.
kartmaster
Ranger which I played almost exclusively until Nightfall. Since then my time has been divided pretty equally between Warrior and Monk.
Artisan Archer
Ranger Power! I liked the color of their armor and I like pew pewing.
xSifox
The same old warrior I still use
Murgatroyd
My first, way back in spring of 2005, was a Necro/Ranger using lots of bow and pet skills. When I got to the Ring of Fire Islands, I switched to /Ele so I could do more damage. Heh.
My alternate was a Monk/Warrior using smiting and axe skills. Ah, those were the days.

Bingobomb
W/mo in prophecies, but that account was hacked and banned.
So then I bought nightfall/factions and made another W/mo with the same name.. Then bought platinum for prophecies and EotN.
So now back to normal.

My first one was a Ranger, for his versatility, connection with forces of nature etc..but back in those days i didn't learn to play with it effectively.
Then i made a Necromancer, because i thought it could be more useful for my teammates.

My first character I ever made was a Warrior/Monk. Was and still is my main toon; I've had him since two weeks after Guild Wars launched :P
