Starting at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) this Friday, you will receive double points for exchanging 1,000 faction for Jadeite or Amber, for exchanging 3,000 faction for an alliance skill, and for transferring 5,000 faction to raise your alliance's reputation. What I was asking is - when we 'learn' a new faction-based skill, don't we already get double points? I learn a skill and trade in 3000pts, I receive 6000 faction credit. Does this weekend mean I receive 12000 per new skill learned?
(Because if it does, I have a couple girls I need to hurry and get to Cavalon/HzH!)
(If I'm wrong, it's because the caffeine hasn't kicked in yet.

Also, I think this is the first time since z-quests to have a weekend like this, which is awesome. You can now mass up and fill up your faction bar all week prior to the event, as well as complete (but not turn in) multiple AB/FA, eternal grove, etc Z-quests. Then, you can turn in all your accumulated faction, as well as all those z-quests to get a big boast in faction to turn in again right as the event starts.

I'll be playing this whole week to earn those 50k-ish faction so that I can donate them on Friday once this thing starts. And then if I am lucky, I'll fill this bar again during the weekend donating another 50k.
Does that mean I'll be playing for a few minutes per day?
No, it just means I won't spend the few hours per day that I'll be on doing the same area over and over and over again.
