I have a friend(ish) who lives in his basement, has leprosy (jk), and plays non-populated blizzlike private servers, aswell as D&D 24/7. A couple people from my RoM guild were saying that because the level cap is 20, the game has less explorability than Super Mario 64.

Another one of them said that "Hundreds of thousands, even millions" (Yes, that's what he said) of people leave GW because of the instanced world.

And one, in all seriousness, has said that it's bad because the servers are never down for maintenance.

And yet another has said that it's bad because you rarely see gold advertisers.

Only the first two were in my guild, the instanced world and super mario one. The gold seller I didn't really know, was just someone in the zone I was in. Server maintenance guy, idr what he was actually.

Also, yeah, I was thinking about that when I was doing a quest the other day, how I enjoy instanced world. In RoM, I was doing a quest, and there was this level 50 killing all the level 12 enemies for one reason or another, so there were none there for me to kill.

QFT When gw gets a bit tiresome I take a break in WoW (not payed, I found a good private server) This lasts for around a week. I will usually go into global chat and rouse the addicts, fanboys and the lot for my own lolz. First I say "The Game" to make sure there are no 4chan-tards. Then I say this is RED ENGINE GO I'm going back to guild wars, they then throw the stupidest arguments, or a smart one will do as said in the quote, but its too advanced beyond the realm of hit noob with 1337 hammer teh lulz.

It's the other way around actually, GW is really bad for PvE most of the time you see people just farm over and over, whereas in WoW PvE you have huge dungeons with many challenging bosses and such. In GW nearly all aspects PvE can be farmed, not much fun in that tbh. GW is generally better in PvP, WoW arenas is boring, everyone runs the same team setup, and there isn't as much tactics involved in it, unlike Guild War's GvG.

I also have to QFT. This is something I have seen come up far too often. Most times, I just give up, as I'd get more results arguing with a 4 year old.

Also, I have these two RL friends who "played" GW first before saying it was utter crap and playing WoW. One friend played a Warrior with a pet and traps, and all he did was the Zaishen. The other played a W/E in pre for about 10 minutes.

Anyone who complains about GW, put them on a crappy computer and force them to play Runescape on one of the free servers. Guaranteed they'll STFU.

I have a RS account (played before i got a computer that could handle GW) and every so often I'll log into it and within 30 seconds I'm immediately reminded how light years better GW is in ALL aspects.

All my friends either play Runescape and/or WoW. They can't grasp the concept of having a level 20 cap.

We've got into deep arguments about the level cap lol. "What's the point? How are you going to be better then everyone else..."

I've even had one friend go as far as saying that Guild War's PvP sucked because he watched a video on youtube about it -.-.

I had a class in school with a bunch of WoW idiots and i was the only GW player. All i had to do was mention GW and all hell broke loose. Btw.. they were very defensive of their game too. Very. Some kids that were in my school got really hardcore pissed off if you talked down about their game.
