Before buying alt accounts, I wish I'd known that they'd remove the XTH. I have to admire the way they did it though, playing the "really complicated bug" card every few weeks. Clever PR (or else they really are that sloppy at programming and contracting, which I don't want to believe...)

I wish I knew about:
1. The dreadnaughts chest. Knew about the other ones. I heard about it, but was too busy scrubbing up PVE with my W/Me Illusionary Weaponry character.
2. Nightfall and EOTN would make a once great game only great to those who didnt know how much better it was before they started playing.
3. Fame was going to be introduced.
4. All the farms (55, TOPK greens, SF greens, Riverside Hill Giants, Riverside Tengu, Ettins.) Missed most of them. Made a 55 when all the monk runes were 60k+. Next day an Anet update made them 10X less.
5. How to properly farm UW. With said 55, I rarely made it out the first chamber. And this was BEFORE Grasping Nightmares.
6. That certain weapons would be astronomically priced. Q8 Gold 14^50 Brute sword. Fell in love. Found another weapon I liked better, merched it for the 250~ GP. Bought a q10 Gold UNCONDITIONAL +14 Crystaline from a dude for 2k. No other mods. Sold it a year later for 100k. Most money I had up to that time. Makes me sad.
7. Powertrading. This I wish I knew about the most, as I dont like farming per se. If I had stacks and stacks of shit in storage, I could spend time buying what at will, funding a guild, and taking Screen Shots.
8. Hard Mode would have loot scaling. Would have built a fuggin campain against anet to stop that POS. Greens too.

My current account was inherited with a full set of characters all created on the very first day the program was released (I get my pets on the actual release day). Unfortunately I ended up deleting all but 3 of the characters (2 were actually in pre-searing too) missing out on a fortune in pets.

I clearly remember talking to my brother and laughing about how stupid it would be for someone to want LESS health... Keep in mind this was early in the game, when they were still worth quite a bit, and when the greatest day ever for me was when I got my first 1k. :P
(yeah, I only discovered the wiki like a year in).
Oh, and the biggie. I was online during the 2nd celestial new year, when the cele pig collector was there, and I had 6 mini pigs (5 to trade, 1 to keep), but in a silly moment with my friend I named them and decided I couldn't give them up, and was convinced I could buy the cele pigs after the festival, "when they'll be cheaper".
I've been kicking myself every day since then. I want my shiny pig...

When I first started about 2 months after this game came out, I made a necro and went out and fought on my own. I asked for parties and people didn't ever invite me, maybe I was a shy online guy since this was my first MMO.
