What do you miss the most in GW?
Kenzo Skunk
For me it is most definitely crafting. All those rubbish drops, such as demonic remains could be used to craft something instead of salvaging to glit dust.
MirkoTeran
Common sense in players.
Gift3d
the state of the game before the massive powercreep overload due to anet catering to whiny talentless players.
Strife17
Barrage-pet in tombs.

When you could go out "Farming" and make ...100K quickly...Now days anything that pays well gets nerfed!

Region chat channels for instanced zones.
While it's a vector for gold sellers and other spammers, it's also a useful tool for those who like random chats. At this moment, you either chat in a public safe zone and do nothing, or you play in silence.
Ability to join instances of other players.
You have a great party and someone suddenly drops out. Or suddenly a friend of yours comes online. And you want them (or someone else) to join you in a middle of your mission.
Easy friendly duelling.
Not just for the guild members. Some people have acquintances on friend lists, after all.
Encounter players randomly during missions.
Allow one instance for several non-overlapping missions. So that you can encounter a random player doing something else.
While it does open room for griefing, it is also a great way to strike friendships over common goals.

Times, when farm in GW was needed only for the fluff and would not in any rate influence the game.

I believe he asked what you missed most not what you wanted the most...
I miss when you actually had to have skill to play the game. Where prestiges armor actually ment something. When having FoW armor showed you had enough skill to make the money for it when it cost alot and you could actually fight down to it.
I miss actually caring about the state of the game.
I miss skilled players actually grouping together to do something awesome.
I miss the uw clears that took foreveeeeer. Now if you don't do it in under 10 minutes you ultra nubsaucebbqnubnab w/e crap.
I miss being able to log in for more then 30 secs to check my flist then logging out in bordem

Finding out new things or exploring.
I remember playing GW the first time and a friend beat me to Kryta and was trying to explain how different the world looked to Ascalon/North Shiverpeaks. I couldn't wait to get there and see it myself.
These days with GW Wiki and to an extent PvX Wiki there is no need to find things out for yourself as well as having done most things more than once as well.

I miss my old guild. I also miss the days when there was a hope for 7-hero parties, and the "NO FUN ALLOWED" heroes-are-bad people hadn't shown up yet.

I miss actually being excited to log in and spend 5+ hours in the game.
I really do blame Anet for letting the game degenerate into what it has become today. I loved this game through and through, but stupid decesion after stupid decesion was made. I watched the communitys that I go too cry out in protest at bad skill buffs, stupid nerfs and the like and watched them be ignored.
I miss long updates, with new content and shifting metas.
Hell, I miss the orginal idea of this game. A game where it is not hours played, but skill that counts. Got my GW Proph box right next to me, a sad reminder of times past.

Well Songbringer... since the OP also listed things that were never in the game, presumably you can mention things you miss (that were there and taken away) and things you miss (that were in other games but not in this one).
I missed playing the game prior to titles existing.

I miss the first 2 years of GW when I was still playing under the illusion that I'd invest my time rather than waste it.
Then they announced GW2.

Build-in voice chat (teamspeak-like)
Unknown Duli
Sorrows Furnace farming for greens with pugs (who were actually pretty decent at that time) using the old Gear trick with endless minions (or enough to kill the necro with a blood of master )
That feeling of excitement when I realized there was someplace else to go after pre-sear......
The feeling of getting a Rune of Superior Absorption and realizing that I had hit the lotto (were worth 90k+ at that time)
People who were there to enjoy going through the missions and having fun instead of speed freaks.... (though I must admit, after the 5th character through a campaign I just want it done as fast as possible)
New Content.....
General overall players attitudes....

I really miss when rangers owned Tombs.....B/P groups are so much fun.....
I miss when green weapons were good items to get to sell......dont get me wrong i like the inscription thing....just wish green weapons were still worth farming for... i.e. (tombs)
I really miss going to these posts and not seeing everyone crying about the game.....if you dont like it dont play it, and dont cry about it in a post....be positive

I always thought that the game should not be altered unless a major bug was found. You can't always cater to new players getting their butts handed to them in the beginning. They would gladly use the same power build you use once THEY learned the game; and the way the people in this game keep coming up with new power builds-the game would have been just fine without nerfs because one would counter the other, etc. Once a nice sweet spot was attained (ie raptor farming) someone just HAD to go in there and screw us all to the wall with less drops and goodies. in the end, it all fuels the economy of the game; so....
Anet stop putting GW into a recession and GIVE US SOME STIMULUS PACKAGES (ie quit taking our farm spots away).
I never did understand the raptor drop nerf.. it's not like ectos were getting catapulted from their lifeless bodies.

Griffon Farming. Spent ages doing that when i started with my 55 monk!

I miss thew wow factor. Nothing new so there's nothing that will surprise you or make you more interested in going back to areas.
I miss playing without superpowered heroes and consumables also....at least it was a challange at times.

Things I would like to see added
1
Complete freedom of character design.
Characters should be able to look however they wish and dress however they wish.
What you wear and what skills you learn should limit future skill choices as should wearing some levels of armour.
Specialisation should be rewarded by access to unique skills only available to such specialists.
2
None combat occupations Trading crafting etc
3
Property ie players able to buy personal equivalents of a guild hall so you could own a shop, trading post or just a house.
4
A decent trading system where you can either sell to npcs for a proportion of the current going rate or try to sell for yourself and perhaps get a higher price.
This should "NOT" involve standing around spamming the airwaves repeatedly with wtb or wts messages.
5
More player to player interaction such interaction to be rewarded to encourage players to work together.
6
A changing world not bothered about a day night cycle though this could be done based on the time of the current zone they are in ie Europe USA etc.
I hate those games that cycle the day in an hour.
But more weather effects would be good.
7
Mobs and bosses should evolve based on player actions also bosses shouldn't have an endless supply of the same weapon.
Being intelligent mobs should either move on to other areas or increase in size and composition to counter player builds and actions.
8
When in hard mode or whatever the gw2 equivalent is make consumables unusable.
Its meant to be hard after all.
Since I am being a little greedy just give me the first 2.

I miss real PvP...
AlsPals
I miss Boonprot Meta(most balanced meta period.)
I miss when I thought more chapters would mean more challenging content(factions almost did that. NF Even closer. DOA isnt a challenge...its grind.)
Miss Gaile and how I felt more like a part of Anet than an onlooker.
Miss when we had enough good GvG players(War Machine/Evil) that had good ideas for balancing GvG.
Miss TOMBS when it catered to off the wall builds...
I guess I can go all day.
