For me it is most definitely crafting. All those rubbish drops, such as demonic remains could be used to craft something instead of salvaging to glit dust.

Region chat channels for instanced zones.
While it's a vector for gold sellers and other spammers, it's also a useful tool for those who like random chats. At this moment, you either chat in a public safe zone and do nothing, or you play in silence.

Ability to join instances of other players.
You have a great party and someone suddenly drops out. Or suddenly a friend of yours comes online. And you want them (or someone else) to join you in a middle of your mission.

Easy friendly duelling.
Not just for the guild members. Some people have acquintances on friend lists, after all.

Encounter players randomly during missions.
Allow one instance for several non-overlapping missions. So that you can encounter a random player doing something else.
While it does open room for griefing, it is also a great way to strike friendships over common goals.

Times, when farm in GW was needed only for the fluff and would not in any rate influence the game.

I believe he asked what you missed most not what you wanted the most...

I miss when you actually had to have skill to play the game. Where prestiges armor actually ment something. When having FoW armor showed you had enough skill to make the money for it when it cost alot and you could actually fight down to it.

I miss actually caring about the state of the game.

I miss skilled players actually grouping together to do something awesome.

I miss the uw clears that took foreveeeeer. Now if you don't do it in under 10 minutes you ultra nubsaucebbqnubnab w/e crap.

I miss being able to log in for more then 30 secs to check my flist then logging out in bordem

Finding out new things or exploring.

I remember playing GW the first time and a friend beat me to Kryta and was trying to explain how different the world looked to Ascalon/North Shiverpeaks. I couldn't wait to get there and see it myself.

These days with GW Wiki and to an extent PvX Wiki there is no need to find things out for yourself as well as having done most things more than once as well.

I miss my old guild. I also miss the days when there was a hope for 7-hero parties, and the "NO FUN ALLOWED" heroes-are-bad people hadn't shown up yet.

I miss actually being excited to log in and spend 5+ hours in the game.

I really do blame Anet for letting the game degenerate into what it has become today. I loved this game through and through, but stupid decesion after stupid decesion was made. I watched the communitys that I go too cry out in protest at bad skill buffs, stupid nerfs and the like and watched them be ignored.

I miss long updates, with new content and shifting metas.
Hell, I miss the orginal idea of this game. A game where it is not hours played, but skill that counts. Got my GW Proph box right next to me, a sad reminder of times past.
