Well we all gave it our best. I'm satisfied and happy with everyone's work in this thread, including my own. But I suppose it just depended on what Anet was looking for in a picture.

Gratz to Tzu, KiyaKoreena, Blaz, Blue, & everybody else who won.
The winners were all pretty good this year, though I couldn't really see the actual Guild Wars-y bits in Rikke and Jorge's things. That Flesh Golem was pretty impressive (though I wouldn't have recognized it from that picture).
And I guess we can't complain about costumes always winning now, since Tzu's and the hat were the only costumes in the whole thing iirc.
Still, a (pointless) note to ANet: If you are having so much trouble picking just 20 winners/HMs, ADD MORE WINNERS. S'not like you're giving away expensive prizes or anything. But whatev. I'm just going to say this is ANet unknowingly smiting me for playing WoW this past week instead of GW... *trying her best not to own up to crappy drawing skills and laziness with regards to setting*

I'm okay really ^.^'' I'm really happy about winning and all, I just really didnt expect it and I'm a bit fuzzed about certain winning entries. :/ But I guess I would be whether I won or not. And anyways, there's still the nolani prizes, and the wintersday workshop by which time I expect we should have even better and more prizes so that it's almost more tempting to win here than on gw.com.

Unfortunately, vanquishing makes you do that. Should you ever feel the need to see one, there is one right outside the gate at the start of the Nolani Academy mission.

Hah, exactly. Vanquishing is the only reason I'm ever in Ascalon. I'll have to check out one of those statues next time.
