Does Anyone Play Polymock Anymore?
Braxton619
I haven't heard anyone playing Polymock anymore. Do you still play it?
Dzjudz
No, 3 reasons: it's not fun, there's no reward and it's not fun. I've breezed through it with a bought piece and never intend to go back. Why would anyone? It's not like there's any variation or incentive.
Neo Nugget
I don't think I've played Polymock for at least 2 years. Sure, it was fun the first time, but after that I pretty much lost interest in it.
razerbeak
I haven't touched it since I got my summoning skills.
nagisaki
Short answer: No
Long answer: Hell no, that minigame's about as fun as watching paint dry in a blizzard, and about as rewarding.

I have on occasions for some random reason. As goes for Norn tournament, dwarven boxing etc. Funny how these mini-games were advertised quite deeply but not like me to QQ but they were very short things.
Then again theyre not too bad to do from time to time. Its a nice little Side-quest to collect some of the pieces especially for people that collect items

Arduin
Did them once for the skills. Can't be bothered with them anymore. It wasn't as fun as I had hoped (pokemon on steroids anyone?)
amitai
it would have been fun if it was against other ppls but its not so...
Black Metal
what, for fun? You must be kidding. Polymock was fail from the start. It's a regretful necessity to get summon skills, and is in the same fun ballpark as dental work.
KageNoShi
I still play Polymock once in awhile...mainly when I can't find my DS or I'm too lazy to simply to go through a few folders on my laptop to play Pokemon Red.
Zahr Dalsk
I did the quest line once for the summon skills.
I'd only repeat it if it was a good way to farm Asuran faction points, which it isn't.

Trub
Nah, I don't do polymock.
been giving the damn things away like candy since day 1 of the whole mess.

Xsiriss
No...just no. For all the reasons listed above. It's the most retarded thing since signet of disenchantment...
The Drunkard
Nope, there's no point in doing so.
4thVariety
It turned out to be boring. You followed the progression of regular pieces and just learned which order to play and where your input windows were. Failure to comply -> start over level.
On the other hand you were able to buy pieces that just obliterated the enemy without him ever having a chance.
So Polymock is either very hard or very easy, in both events the game is not that interesting and there is no incentive to replay it. Norn Arena turned out to be more fun when it came to EotN minigames.

Polymock was a a waste of time. Both for players and devs.
zwei2stein
... I had to wiki it to remember what exactly it is.
So much for interesting and engaging minigame.

OMFG, am I the only one that has not even bothered to play that damn game?
Seriously, as soon as I played the first game on the quests I was bored as hell and have not played it, not even for those skills they give.

Trader of Secrets
I went through the whole polymock stuff just once. Seriously there is no point to it

Stolen Souls
Nope. Played it once for the skills, and that's all. I found it to be incredibly boring.
majikmajikmajik
replace codex with polimock arena, add a pokemon reference title and we might see some play.
other then that i didnt even do it for the skill, got stuck after the 2nd battle and forgot about it till today.

DreamWind
Anymore? I don't know anybody who played it when it was first released. Sadly though, if it had rewards people would be farming it.
Travaail
if polymock was PvP i'd play..otherwise it's the worst possible combination of chess pokemon and mind numbing boredome imaginable.
headgear56
Its not worth the hassle to unlock the summoning skills.
Xsiriss
Kumu Honua
Polymock had and could still have potential, if it were player vs player.
Other than that, haven't played since I got the summons.

tried it once when i got eotn. even with bought pieces it was too hard. so i never went back to it. now if you play with others on the same side then i would go back. and honestly summon stones even the most crappy ones pawn the asuran summon skills.
Karate Jesus
I did it on all my chars for the summons and then forgot about it. Tbh, I hope they never do anything else with it anyway. It would just be people using Ruby Djinn Polymocks against each other.

Jongal
I haven't done them one any char but my main. Just because EVAS is the better summon.
IlikeGW
It was perfect for PVP, so of course there was no PVP. Nonsense for PVE. It was fun beating it once though, but to play it again? Why would you care.
Eragon Zarroc
played it to get the asuran skills. that's it. no more, lolz
Reverend Dr
I'm amazed at how many things that ultimately were not fun that made it through alpha testing.
upier
I didn't even get the skills.
Crappy connection and poof, the game was over before I even knew that it started.
Oh and don't get me started on the fixed skill placement. I am used to having my interrupts in certain places and so I instinctively went for those slots in Poly also. Needless to say, they weren't in those places.
Gave up in frustration.

I don't play it, but I do collect the pieces Ya know, just for perfection XD But I think the game is too restricted for following reasons:
1: No moveability - You stand on a platform and either get hit or not, no possibilities of moving around in an arena or something.
2: Only a handful of available pieces - You get too used to them. No variation.
3: Enemies always got same pieces out - Variation please >.<
4: No PvP - This would actually be kinda nice.
5: Lousy Rewards - Enough said...
Sad thing is I was looking forward to it I mean they called it a pokemon game. POKEMON GAME!! It sounded so coooool -.-

I did the first quest and then got bored with it. I'll prolly do the rest of the questline soon to get the skills. I'm flabbergasted as to why ANet didn't make a PvP Polymock arena.
Daesu
I distinctly remember that Polymock used to be one of the features that people here were excited about after GWEN beta after they have read about it. It is interesting how people felt so excited and then reality sets in.
I completed all the Polymock quests on all 16 of my playable PvE characters, got all the PvE skills, and wouldn't want to do it again.

Which is, by the way, something I suggested in the past, that certain monsters in the Underworld and other exploited locations be given Signet of Disenchantment.
headlesshobbs
Polymock is nothing more then a half-finished mini-game lacking pvp in any form. That and a number of other things which need to be looked at.
