Just curious, do you think they are worth the 75e satisfaction-wise, looks wise, or just overall?

Thanks :3

Do you think they're worth it? If you're planning to get them, ask yourself if you think they're worth it, not others.

I recently bought chaos gloves for my monk. Did the "black light" color. I haven't regretted it but ectos weren't worth as much a month ago.

Well look at it. Nobody is going to stop you in Guildwars and say "OMG those gloves are amazing!" because you see them everywhere now.

Are they worth it in terms of armor, no, because they still have the same amount of armor.

Are they worth it overall? That's only for you to decide. If you think that spending 75e to have glowing hands will make the game better and leave you grinning from ear to ear, then go for it. Otherwise it's a complete waste of money.

Most people do it to try and boast about virtual wealth n a virtual world. If that also floats your boat, then go for it!

It all comes down to two things, personal opinion, and epeen.

Personally, I'd look at the other options out there and weigh the cost.
Then again, the chaos gloves have the highest epeen factor.

if you have Obby armor(HoM), then go for it. you obviously have no money issues so you shouldnt be worried about it.

If you like them, buy them. If you do go for them: make sure they look good with your armor. Warrior, ele or sinfow for example look retarded with them, but monkfow suits the gloves.

I bought them because they fit my armor-combo.

Still, it's your opinion.

(cant add gloves to the HoM)

What's more important, E-peen, or cash in your storage?

Personally I really like chaos gloves, it makes shitty sin FoW look decent.

I don't really care for chaos gloves but I got them anyway for lack of anything better to buy. I wouldn't get chaos gloves if I only had just enough money for it though.

I hate them (I don't see how they could ever look good), but if you want them then get them.

They are worth it before you buy them. Not as much after that. Same with ecto armor. You want it so badly, you are full of ectos and obsis... And after you`ve bought it, you feel somewhat empty. The burning desire to get it is gone, together with about one mil worth of resources. Just a personal opinion.

edit: If you want them for mesmer character, get them. They look strange on the others.

If you're going to put them on a female mesmer, yes. Otherwise, no. But it's your choice in the end, as the others have said before me.

In my opinion, they are not worth it and never had been. My wife got a set for her ele when they first became available (ectos were running between 8 and 10K back then). At first she loved them and would wear them all the time, now after almost two years of having them she no longer wears them at all.
In the end, it is your opinion that matters but I advise you consider carefully before you buy them. Seventy five ectos is still a lot of money.

Personally I think they only look good on a female Mesmer. The full arm thing is kind of stupid in my own opinion, so I like the cut-off-at-the-wrist look.

But, hey. If you like them, don't let anyone else's opinion stop you from getting them. It's your money, right? You can do whatever the hell you want with it.

If I ever happened to have enough ecto for them (lol), I'd probably get them. They're rather low on my to-get list for my Mesmer. Besides, I can't stop myself from selling my ecto dirt cheap to a friend. I guess I want her to get her armor more than I want chaos gloves.

Honestly, although I got them a long time ago I regret it. They can't go in the HoM and thus have no significant purpose.

Depends all on how BIG you want your ePenis to be...

They don't say nice gloves...they say "YOU ARE HUUUUUGGGGEEEE!!!!!" - Spanish Fly works.

If you're a war.... make sure it looks good with your armor. With warriors mostly not the case.

I was a fan of Chaos Gloves from day one; the idea of a Monk with glowing hands always sounded great and godly to me. So I went for it and I don't regret it one bit.

I think they look good on any professsion provided you use it with sleeveless armor - because if the armor has long sleeves, the elbow part will be uncovered and look really awful (Ele/Asn/War FoW armor for example). It works really well on FoW armor for Monk/Para/Derv though IMHO.

Mesmers look more discrete, with a smaller glow on hands only (not forearms) so those looking for a less flashy look can get them on their Mesmer.

A good thing to keep in mind:

Deldrimor armor is without the head and gloves on some sets. When I get that armor, I'm wearing sunglasses and Dragon/Destroyer Gauntlets.

So if your wearing that armor, it would be a good idea to get an eotn special armor piece.

If you want to get the gloves. Just get the gloves. It is your money anyways. If you dont know for sure you may give me the 75 ectos

But if you like em. Just buy em. Why shouldnt you buy something cuz sum1 else say :"They're ugly". They probarly buy things that you find ugly so

I bought chaos gloves for my Mesmer because I had to do something with the gold - you can only carry so much gold and you really can't take it with you. (I bought Mesmer ones because they don't look quite as dorky as the rest.)
As far as the e-peen aspect goes - chaos gloves are common as dirt now.

Are they worth it? Once you have max armor and weapons, nothing else is really "worth it" - it's all just for show. But, as I said, you may as well spend the gold on something.
