To be honest, I was about to make a similar thread.
With the last update, character personalization has come to a new edge. I think it'd be pretty decent to offer every player a chance to make his own, personnal character with all the elements offered.
Right now, it's not the case. I would definitly buy this, seeing how fanciful the new hats are.

I still want my Santa cap.
To be honest I think the veteran players had their piece of cake long enough. Not everyone (including myself) was able to attend in all events and it would only bring fairness if old hats from recurring events were available to everyone.
The idea of getting a new hat should just be left at seeing what the new hat for the year is.
