actually it was totally believable to me. i've been a member of sites which went from free to pay structures no more silly than that one. past tense used intentionally. and i love a joke as well as or better than the next guy. that leaves me with 4 posts for flame wars.

Name Birth date address and all bank account details plus the passwords to a guy in Nigeria.

Idea was good, but you have went over the board with prices and post limits.

Life-time membership of 29,95 and 0.05 per cost with 25 post limit a day would be much more believable, and there are other examples to that.

I guess you didn't want to moderate the forums too much and hand out bans to people didn't didn't get the joke, but I admit - it was actually shocking, the first time I started reading it. It reminded me how I felt when Anet introduced the gay microtransactions on wider scale. Somehow unlock packs didn't bother me at all.

I would have liked it better if it had a second screen before you were able to post where you were brought to a "Checkout" type of screen with the price of your "Purchase" =p
