I knew this was all fake when I first saw it, but there were some things that caught my eye that I really wanted to see come true. What update(s) would you want to actually happen?
These are my picks:
* Mysticism: this attribute now returns 1 Energy for every rank of Mysticism. (mysticism buff pls)
* Amity (PvP): increased casting time to 60 seconds. If this spell completes, the match ends in a draw. (anyone who can't interrupt or KD someone casting this does not deserve to win)
* Spirit Bond: removed restriction on the maximum number of hits. (it only lasts 8 seconds anyways)
* Weapon spells can now be cast on spirits. (only in PvE)
* Vengeful Was Khanhei: changed functionality to: "While you hold Khanhei's ashes, skills used on you are interrupted, but are allowed to finish when you drop his ashes. This skill is the best item spell of all time. OF ALL TIME." (imba elite skill right here)
* Changed base armor to be 100, but -60 against lightning damage.
* Healing Signet: now usable by all professions. (become non-profession specific like res signet)
* Monsters sometimes cancel spells when fighting Mesmers and Rangers to draw out interrupts. (improve enemy AI ftw)

And it would be abused in AT's by terrible guilds who stand no chance of winning and just want the RP's.
The only change that I would like is the Pokemon reference with the pets.

Lets be honest, aminity would be quite cool if it had an adrenaline requirement of 10 (so you must be in combat before starting to cast) and it was a skill, so that its cast time couldnt be reduced.
EDIT:
The blackout change (pve only) would be a good step for returning mesmers to their intended role in pve.

Mysticism *used* to be good. It was utterly broken. The only way this attribute could be remotely mucked with was if it only worked with derv enchants.
Start casting on the countdown timer in base? This is a clear reference to early 600 nerf, albeit it might not be so bad now with holy wrath nuked. Can't break PvE any further, but this is also fairly pointless. Are you being serious or not? It's not going to be used outside of mesmers and maybe rangers. I guess that makes it a safe buff... Interrupts are used in PvE? |
