Pale-Dim
can still mod them. not sure if the mods still stack though but they can be changed
Eragon Zarroc
yeah, they fixed a bug that allowed the mods to be stacked, but did they remove the mods that have already been stacked? O_o
Shayne Hawke
Sliver could use a duration buff now that the skill doesn't focus damage.

Oh cool. We keep the large bone horrors!

Ummmmmm yeah, I can still add mods and dye to the greens. Nice fix!
Gabriel of Ravn
Well I just did some experimenting in FoW with sliver on the shadow warrior NM I was only doing 12 damage at 12 earth magic with no buffs. In HM with By Ural's Hammer my sliver was doing 15 damage to shadow warriors.
majoho
I guess we'll see a fix to fix the things that weren't fixed in this fix, maybe they'll fix it in that fix.
(and I'd like to keep the horrors as they are now so don't fix that).

Yes keep fixing stuff, its actually quite entertaining to see what bugs they can scare up

Mr. Undisclosed
I tried adding a mod to my WiK green focus and nothing happened, is there some special way or did they fix it again?
Coverticus
Hmm, The Inderdictor just dropped for me and I cannot mod it. However, my daggers are still moddable that dropped prior to the update.
Note on wiki:
Will be surprised if they don't go back and revert the items still out there.

War in Kryta unique weapons that dropped prior to this update can still be upgraded. |
Gabriel of Ravn
They fixed the ones that are dropping from being double modded but ones prior to the update can still be modded. They are suppose to be fixing this within a day or 2 from what I hear.

and now I bet many people do just that for the weapons that are still moddable But I guess it also comes to a price, who knows one day you bring out your shiny 'unique' greens and next days banned for exploits

Just a question:
How does this dual modding work then? Does it override the previous mod? (On greens), or does it simply stack? If so, what mods can be stacked? (Vamp + zealous? +60 HP axes? )

I think it takes a lot of time scanning through databases and such to revert the existing modded greens.
I remember that it took a while to upgrade everybody's Elementalist armours that were outdated due to the introduction of the insignia system. Old Pyromancer armour had +15 armour versus fire damage but new insignias offered +10 vs. elemental damage as well as + 10 vs. fire damage.
It took weeks before they patched the old armours though.

You think that moddable greens will have same value as lets say hedge sword.
I don't think they'll ban ppl for having those items. By now they should warn them to destroy those weps. We don't need another fiasco like GH travel in presearing.

Oh phew, moddable greens is the best decision they made since...well I can't really think of any good decisions off the top of my head...

They hurt so much with this update...
But who cares, it will make the games prices on everything go up!

So the new greens are worthless again? They should have left them as moddable but fixed the double stacking issue.

Bill Clinton
What was the double stacking thing?

I'm all for moddable uniques, but they should either be:
- Gold coloured, for consistency - Greens are green for a reason: they're different from Golds because they are unique and hence they have specific, fixed stats. As I mentioned in some other thread, we already have some moddable items that act like "uniques" (Dhuum's Soul Reaper, the three swords coming out from the Gifts of the Traveller and the old Icy Dragon Sword) and all of them are gold items.
- Differently coloured - such as, what, orange, or straw-yellow. WiK "uniques" are actually not that unique, as they have their own proper name with no reference to the foe originally using it, since they're dropped by specific categories of foes and not just bosses, so why not a new category for them?
