It was stupid easy on my Derv, but like a lot of high-end content it seems very hard to do on a caster character...I only started having significant probs when I just brought my Ele in to do it.

Now ok the hardest time with my warrior was because it did not have infused armour yet, and still managed to almost kill the mursaat but so much spectral agony was a bit too much. And oh yeah did I mention I suck at playing a warrior
Mr. Undisclosed
Yeah pretty much the opposite. All my caster characters blew through it pretty easily while my derv was the hardest and painful to do. Sin was pretty easy and warrior was okay. Not to mention the groups have much more anti melee then anti caster.

Can they infuse the henchmen already? Every patch they forget to do it.

If you're finding the content too hard in NM, you need to look over your builds and/or tactics, because it's really not any harder than, say, beating Nightfall. The cloaks are the only things that you really need to watch out for, and for those you can either bring a mesmer hero, which demolishes them, or rezone until you get a bow or armor instead.

Finally unlocked HM on my alt account on a monk. Please point me to the info that tells me where and how to start this WM vs SB thing.

We've been whining for that for 5 years and nothing has happened so I'm giving up hope there.
How difficult is it to program them to be infused? It's actually better to go as 4 instead of 6 because heroes try so hard to heal henchmen who are affected by spectral agony that they burn all energy and have no time for anything else. It's plain laziness and apathy on the devs' part.

I also think she has all the reason to behave like that, to have a similar personality forged by all her suffering. And remember how she was as a child, when we first met her. An happy and joyful child, jumping around all the day. Just think what all the searing and captivity may have done to such a child. And then see how she's fragile under her coat, but she thinks better to hide it and look strong, other way she would be destroyed, by pain and everything else. At least, that's how I see her. For sure seen from a casual meeter she looks like the most hateble and childish person in the word, a stubborn little girl, and that's for sure how Evennia (correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall she knows anything personal about Gwen) sees her in their meeting.

I don't like the fact that I'm stuck on the 2nd dialogue and have witnessed the stupid trial of Zinn.

What i like.
Random foes, numbers and classes.
New stuff, weapows, minis are allways welcome.
The history is good... something say me this a trap to heros again... something dont smell good...
What i dislike.
Impressive unconditional damage output from foes, today i look the damage i taking, and go check the atribs of foes, i get 136 from Signet of Toxic Shock, O.O the foes have 21 in the atribs? very hard to counter...
What is bizarre to me.
Some foes just run from groups away the batle and join the batle... and dont talk with me about agro, i posting it because i ever control agro, allways have one eye in mini map... and i dont talking about the classic monks that run from another groups to heal another foes...
And to prove something is wrong with agroo, Lovisa group are all unliked, you can pull one by one, some foes in patrols just walk for you, another stop fighting and dont do nothing and wait for dead stoped...
Sure its not allways, i see it happens a lot in Riverside Province.
Foes monks dont heal some bosses, bizarre...

I had that happen on a toon, had to go back and view trial again. I made sure I stayed in the witness area and did not leave until zinn, brimm and mox left the court area. Pain in the rear but the toon moved the dialogue finally.
Mustache Mayhem
the regular henchmen die but they are pretty decent in hm if you buff them.. like I'll bring stephan and bring dwarf weapon, ect..
really like the way the mobs change skills.. sometimes you'll come up against a really tough set- like in the latest mission they have from lions arch- take the path to the left
there's a group with a justicar in it along with a jade.. and they're up high- so they get the advantage on head shots
had to pull them down the steps and play with the flagging.. the priest in that group needed a good rend too xD
funny a lot of players don't even know about the wik missions.. met a guy who was selling a 4 year mini and asked me about it

lol I experienced the other way around. I suck at playing warrior so I managed to get all quests and bounties very easy with my necro, even easier with my ranger and almost a walk in the parc with my scythe sin.

carry a zealous sword.. you should have close to 600 hp without pain so empathy shouldn't be too much of an issue otherwise bring endure pain or some other pve skill
run it tank and spank.. flag the henches and run up ahead.. cancel the flag

Had this problem on one of my characters too, i went back and waited till zinn and crew walked out of the camp and over the bridge and then left the zone after that and was able to access the keep.

Didn't mention the things I do like as I was having a "negative day" when I posted last time but I'm really enjoying the quests and story that is going on with this "WiK".
I'd really like to see Divinity's Reach added as a new outpost at the end of all this. Not the "full grown" Divinity's Reach of GW2 but just a little town that will become what we end up seeing in GW2. I don't expect that to happen but I think it would be cool. (It's possible that Shaemoor is the "little village" that will become Divinty's Reach but an actual outpost would be so much nicer)

I had that too, then I realized I did not go outside EOTN to see I think evennia?
After that things went ok.

I'm just generally having fun with it, overall. I like seeing the new bars for the White Mantle, and the Ebon Falcons have pretty amusing quotes when they join you, too. (I like how just about every last one of them has an opinion on the Gwen/Thackeray relationship.) Kryta's a lovely place, and it's a lot more challenging now than it used to be, so I'm having fun.
And, hey, extra storyline is always good.

Gwen is simply a character in a story, and as such is at the whim of the people who write her dialogue. I want to like Gwen and I think she is a good character, but I disagree with the way she is written. Maybe I should have put it like that. The way she is written makes her unsympathetic to *me*. She does not come across as a survivior, as a strong female to whom I want to identify with (I happen to be female). If this was a regular story and not a MMORPG, I would still not like her. As important as she is to the story, I'm surprised the writers have not done a better job. Writers usually want their main protagonist to be likable, or as least admirable.
So, I blame the writers. |
Gwen is a personal favorite of mine, (don't like Rurik who has been settled all along. He's a boring story, but his stubborn father is more fun to follow)
