Missing HB
/not signed for same reasons that have been mentionned....

gotta love trolls; only one of those links was actually pertinent to the topic.

I'd frown upon a-net dare this be implemented.

depends on whether it helps to form and gather a community, to link players up, and to integrate more than differentiate.

Not shure i'm for this right now. I only got GWAMM for my own satisfaction. As for finding pugs: A lot of people treat GWAMM is a sign of frickin INCOMPETENCE. I prefer to have "Legendary master of the north" displayed to invoke trust in my pugging skills.
MithranArkanere
To many people get too many things ran or farmed for titles to be an actual sign of skill.
AmoebaInfectionTechnique
It would be better if you get to hold a pimp cane or cup in outposts.
Gruff
/notsigned enough glowy things, fireworks, tonics and other crap as it is
Swingline
You get to display your GWAMM in GW2 and I believe that is enough.

EDIT - Besides, I believe the "God" part in the title is just idiomatic, so no need to have an aura at all...
BTW, yay for thread necromancy.
EPO Bot
It would be rather unpleasant if you had an aura and then ended up sucking too.
Mireles
I rather they add more titles to the track, with 36 fixing to be 37 on my war... 38 on my mez... I'm running out of shit to do.
carnage-runner
I'd love it if you could glow... But make it so only you can see it. A perk to having done things would be nice, as the lag generated by 100 glowing people and their minipets in HD settings in Kamadan during a festival event with fireworks going off and people popping party items... Would be a bit annoying.
But the glow would be awesome to achieve, somewhere. It's been discussed ad nauseum... I say no in this implementation but yes in some other way.

Titles these days dont mean that much to me - in the old days before eotn survivor title was impressive , now you can get a survivor from lvl 1 in 8hrs ish doing boxing etc.
Titles used to mean a lot of work - ldoa took ages , lux/kurz would be a bad example as you can easily farm those - old days ppl used to hfff ( for those who were not around it means hero fast faction farming ).
Most titles now can be bought/run/afk , hell i can even recall when someone had obby armor and ppl respected that because of the effort needed to get the materials , these days its - oh look obby armor and thats it.
For a few weeks if this was done - everyone would be wow`d untill the novelty wore off and it would become just another effect.
Hey Gill you gave me an idea with thread necromancy - the new gwamm effect would be thread necromancy :P

Its not like it would be that hard to add a aura.... boss auras already exists... hell you can even use the effect aura from the doppelganger mission.
But as people said... since they made every title so easy to get... everyone and thier mom has GWAMM.. id suggest adding a 7th and 8th tier... maybe some titles for GW beyond content... then add a aura... none of these things should have anything to do with gw2.

Instead - make rank 7 for "Maxed titles tier" and then we will think about it

There are other games to be played. You should try them. I still play RA a few hours a week so I understand where you are coming from. I think ArenaNet would have made another expansion if someone would have told them GW2 wouldn't be out until at least 2012.

I want electric sparks coming from my character, like those sparks from the obelisks in Ruins of Surmia.

You know what would be cool? Making your character look taler while the title is selected in outposts and explorable areas (but not PvP),
There are many humans that were also 'tall as a norn' like Shiro, the Guild Lords, Turai Ossa, Paawa Joko, the Ghostly Heroes, etc.
It won't be very disrupting in outposts unless you get close enough to see it, and it won't do much harm in PvE, since a taller ally only helps in targeting them for support skills.

Since everyone and their dog has GWAMM, how about:
1) A new title to reach for, The Greatest God Walking Among Mere Gods. Maybe you can only get this title once you...
2) In yellow text, when your GWAMM character logs in, the chat says: "Due to your achievement, you've been granted access to HA and GvG only. Go and prove you truly are a GWAMM...".
Your character is banned from PvE until you reach the rank necessary to add Hero and/or Champion titles to your HoM.
Wish I were trolling, but I'm dead serious If you're truly a GWAMM, then this will be a piece of cake.

B: Optional. Forcing someone to play a specific bit of content(especially given the pisspoor state of PvP) just isn't fun.
I like your first idea to a degree. But rather than adding to an existing title track, why not create the ultimate completionist's title(lets not desecrate a perfectly good Anchorman reference so make it unrelated to the GWAMM track) for those that complete literally all content. Every mission, quest, challenge, side quest, from any and every NPC. It would require some very selective questing and is more then a challenge.
Arkon Necrocannibal
I only read the 3 first pages but, IMO, GWAMM is too easy to get an emote.
An emote must be given for people with 35 differents titles.

I wouldn't like a title to award my own frustration...
Hanok Odbrook
No.
We should have the boss glow after Ascending and becoming We No Su - not for GWAMM.
Seriously,
We go through four complete missions to Ascend to defeat some Undead guy (who wasn't really all that powerful to being with), then we defeat four celestial entities to defeat some Ghost jacked up on speed (who ends up becoming mortal again anyway before we fight him). If that doesn't make our characters Bosses, I don't know what does.
Notice I am ignoring having to kill some bugs pooping in pools so we have the power to defeat a God, because, well ... that was just the worst plotline ever.
