Those were exploits that were fixed. And not everyone who has the drunkard title took advantage of the portal exploit because using it costs more in terms of gold/booze to max the title.

I agree 100%. It's been suggested before and shouldn't be too hard to implement. They've already got a sugar rush icon that shows up when under the influence of any sweet used in town. They've got an icon for showing that you're under the influence of a tonic, which seems to be a waste, since I can already see that my character is a giant icicle or whatever. AND, they've already got an icon for being under the influence of Grog.
