Intermittent server issues tonight

Hi guys,

I just got word from the team that we're experiencing some hardware-related technical difficulties, which will require us to perform network maintenance throughout the night. This may cause intermittent interrupts, which may cause some of you to get disconnected.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. The team is working on the issue now, and hope to have everything resolved soon. We'll keep you posted with more information as soon as we know more.

No rush. We would like to know, however: Is there an estimated time for this maintenance?

Do you think this will solve the code=13/15/etc. problems?

lets hope it solves some of my friends issues.. he has had to hang out with me with a constant 4k ping trying to have a conversation.. that isnt easy. well gl to your maintainence.

and @ end: i think that picture of the broom closet isnt too far off(heck they might have even bought the closest from harry potter lol)

Well there's the fix the doctor ordered. Ha ha! I bet it's going to be all night, if not all the first half of the next day. Would you let us know when you're done with the maintenance and then we can check up to see any difference? Thanks, by the way.

thanks for the update Emily. I'm sure things will be back to normal in time. And I hope this eases the minds of those who think this is the new normal.

Yeah, I'll definitely try to post when we get the all-clear, depending on how late it runs. I'll need to head home soon, but will check in from there.

Unfortunately, there are some unrelated issues that prevent me from being able to post to the website right now.

sweet. do want to know how anything is really different server -wise like why peple cant do XX thing at the XX district or they are Dcing left and right... i mean its kinda like hooking in a 360 but with alot more wires right? oh well its ok i still semi love your company (though u are giving my friend horrible ping and forcing him to take hrs to fix the problem but thats another story entirely :/ )

Ever since the switchover I have had the best pings I've ever seen. I'm even seeing green pings in American districts whereas they were mostly orange before.
