I'll admit it. I still have "The Waiting Game" quest on my main character. Despite repetitive attempts at the Underworld to complete all of the quests and challenge Dhuum, I still have yet to do so.
With Halloween coming in two months, I can easily assume the quest chain will occur back again for everyone to do once again.
Am I the only person to still have this quest? It wouldn't surprise me.

i saved some holiday events one year and had to abandon tem once the next year rolled around and then retake them from the NPC for the current year. You may run into the same problem.

I don't think we'll see this quest chain again. Dhuum has been here all year, why would we go through the quests again pretending like he's still imprisoned.

They mentioned that those quests would ONLY be available that year---and yes I still have it on a bunch of characters as well....

I wonder just how many people gave up when they saw it involved getting through UW WITH the new boss at the end, considering UW isn't the most accessable place in the game for most people anyway.

And I still have The Waiting Game on all my characters -- never even attempted it. A friend and I made a black widow run one time, took a stab at The Demon Assassin quest after for the lulz, and were promptly wiped by the elementalist mob. It was then that I realized I'd probably never see Dhuum.

The uw is accessible to everyone. Me and my co leader have a thread on here called "shall we sing dhuum a lullaby"....if you want to join us sign up for it so you can complete the waiting game quest. Its not a speedclear. We started the thread because of the fact that so many people want to do it but lack the skill for the sc or never been or would rather do it balanced. We take about 3 maybe 4 pugs at a time based on their experience and what core professions we have coming from our guild/alliance. Anyway check it out. The thread is under my name

I would love to finish this quest (have it on multiple characters), however, I was never able to finish the quest before it (yeah yeah yeah---I wasnt able to run thru the degen area and click and pick a new target and click and bla bla bla fast enough)......so I have no mobstoppers either 
and yeah, lots of people still have this one it seems.....and many of us are not 'skilled' at the underworld so most groups wont take us (and I am not rich by any means--I think I have a few ecto TOTAL to my name)......

I actually went with 6 heroes and did pretty well until I took the quest in Pits without flagging heroes back... insta-NPC gimp and fail. Nothing quite like spending 2 hours and finishing 5 quests to fail on a stupid escort. Haven't been back since.

If you don't care that it's in Normal Mode or Hard, simply taking a dual-ER backline will sugarcoat the whole run. Read what each quest does or leave it to one person if you really don't know what quests spawn what.

And yeah, I still have the waiting game on all my chars except my main, on which I finished it. You do know that to complete the waiting game, you don't have to beat dhuum, right? You get the reward right before you enter his chamber. It's the quest The Nightman Cometh or something like that that requires you to beat dhuum.
Also, I used to have 3 stacks of mobstoppers, and I carried one with me at all times when I entered UW for any reason, and I was building a stack of captured skeletons. Then, of course, I got hacked like a month or so ago, and these guys were fairly malicious b***ards, as they deleted everything that wasn't tradeable, which included the mobstoppers (along with my zcoins and medals of honor etc).
It was a fun and random hobby capturing my skeletons for fun, and I miss them.

Only time i've been in UW since the run up quests is when a kindly Ranger took me on a spider run. Nice guy too.

Keep in mind that you don't actually have to beat Dhumm to finish the Waiting Game quest. You might as well try since you're there, but if you get wiped or bugged out it's not so bad.

I still have it on my Necromancer because the builds that are able to clear UW for Necro are never tank builds, meaning I have to rely on tanks that are oftenly incompetent and even worse, SoS rits to do their shit at the 4H quest. I have completed the UW on my Assassin and Ritualist, but those characters were created after last year's Halloween.

I only did some parts of UW, and none of it on my Warrior. Which happens to be the only char I didnt delete the quest from. I am not a tank warrior but just another 100b war, and not experienced. kinda hard to find a pug, and also I don't want to be the one that RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs things up because of my lack of experience.

i also have 5 toons with this quest remaining, and i suggest finding Neith's post on this very subject, when his guild/alliance forms a group, its efficient and fun, just listen and all is good. also looking for others who are willing to try going in the UW. IGN jan tiff, hit me up when i am on and we can always try it

I've got it on a bunch of characters and have the mobstoppers and captured skeletons too just because they make me giggle. Finished UW once before the changes, probably never will again.

I've still got it on a few characters, I did actually complete it on one right after they added in Dhuum, when people were whining that they made UW impossible for balanced teams (a handful of us that post regularly in the Nolani forum went "yeah okay" and went and did it together). First and only time I've actually done UW.

I still have it. A group and I did multiple attempts to get to Dhuum but we would fail at Servants of Grenth every time. We haven't done it since the "buff", but I don't have much hope for it, really.
