bugs are funny. this is by far the most entertaining "new content" they have added to GWs {if they meant to or not}

but actually those shields have nothing to do with "oldschool"....

And it's not sexy at all. Actually kinda turns me down.

That was kind of my point, that and this bug makes me laugh too much to not share.

All but a handfull of the shields posted here aren't "oldschool"
The title for this thread should have been "hey look I have a bunch of shields" but people toss the "oldschool" label on everything these days.

I'm 95% sure req8 Gloom Shield doesn't drop anymore though. (and therefore is 'oldschool' in every sense of the word)
Prove the opposite!

I'm 100% sure that max req 8 shields still drop so unless the Gloom Shield has been removed from the drop table all together it is still possible for them to drop.

FYI posting that dumbass shield in this thread about "oldschool" shields that aren't "oldschool" was making fun of the thread itself so don't get all worked up.

I'm also sure req8 shields still drop. Gloom Shield also still do drop. I've got my reasons to believe req8 Gloom Shields don't drop anymore though and only dropped for quite a short amount of time. I might explain this some time later in a new thread. It's just "speculation" though, but I have some points to it and as long as nobody proves me wrong I'll stick to that

Here's the only shield I have which fits as "oldschool." It's nowhere near as impressive as some of the things posted here. But I actually do like that skin. They look like shields, and they tend to go well with my characters.

Friend gave me this shield, We were talking about Caster Shields. I sold it for 100k, week or 2 later. It a shield keep in memory it was soo unique.

A friend gave you that awesome shield and you sold it for penny`s shame on you. I have a screen somewhere of a shield i got will post it when i can find it, love the thread btw.

i am curious as to which skin the tall shields are
is it the defender skin or the silver badge shaped one
which is more common?

Wow, I've never heard of a "Tall Shield" with skin other than this. Is there a "Tall Shield" that looks like the skin on "Defender" and "Tower Shield?"

i hate defender skin anyhow :P

Atleast i never heard/seen of defender skinned tall shield, But i remember somehow some rumours or someting about defender skin aegis

Closest I've come to getting a somewhat useful oldschool shield.

thanks to everyone who's sold me these, I've been collecting them for a good 8 months. and two of my favorite ones thanks to aris!

Now I just need luny's +30 +10vs dragons ornate and my life will be complete.
