Happened last night actually. Drank too much with some friends. One of them wanted to play GW so I logged on for him. He asked if he could make a new one so I said "delete the nooby one", meaning the one I made that morning for fun. He jokingly said "but they're all nooby", so I said "then delete them all". In his drunken haze, he took me seriously and did so. Goodbye years of time spent playing. Goodbye hundreds of thousands of gold. Hello new character. Hello starting all over again.

Once back when Superior Absorption runes were worth ~80k, I agreed to trade a stack of peppermint candy canes for one of them. Needless to say, the guy switched it to a Superior Tactics rune in the last moment. I was such a noob.

I mentioned several pages ago how I SOLD amber worth 200k to the armor crafter instead of crafting with it. When factions was new I BOUGHT amber 3k each and needed to merch stuff before I had room for the amber.
I use summoning stones or candycanes for stoppers. They are useful here and there, so it isnt a wasted slot.
Bbut then again I tend to care too much for backup in case of ANY calamity. Before I move out I like to have individual dp removers, party dp removers, some cons to improve all team, some summon stone, and extra to give to party mates if my own die, lockpicks, extra salvage kits plus I always have some iron and dust, since I always salvage more of that underway. Peppermint candy, honeycombs, fruitcakes, wintergreen, rainbow, candy corn, rez scroll, extra kits.........
Im getting so fat and heavy that I look like yakkington and still have almost no room left in my bag.

what i did was when i first got the game was think ooo you can make you own guild *delves deep into making own guild* ahhh yay i'm in my own shiney guild and then played it on and off since i got it 3 years ago with me and my brother just in the guild.... now i decide to actually advertise my guild.... i now have me, my brother, one friend and 2 inactive players and many large guilds to compete with... it's guna be a long process *smashes head against wall*

The dumbest thing I did was sell an r7 mad damage gold FDS (unidentified) to the merch for 50 some gold... That was a about six months after release. I have only gotten one other one since and it was a blue.

Having finally scraped together enough war supplies for an oppressor weapon, I went charging over to the collector for my shiny new energy storage staff, scrolled through the list and double clicked the first ele two-hander beginning with e... e for earth magic, as it turned out.
While failing to read a whole word or even predict that ‘a’ comes before ‘n’ in the alphabet is pretty bad, my crowning (in)glory was when I then did the exact same thing for my destroyer weapon the next day.

Most recent dumb thing -- failing 3 times to skill cap Assassin's Promise from Xuekao, the Deceptive, in Pongmei Valley.
1st time: Made sure I bought a Signet of Capture, killed boss, but zoned out before actually capping elite skill.
2nd time: Killed boss but realized I forgot to switch secondary profession to Assassin before heading out.
3rd time: Capped AP but zoned out (to Maatu Keep) mere milliseconds after seeing Assassin's Promise replacing the Signet of Capture icon on my skillbar. When I arrived in town, AP reverted back to SoC. (WTF I am thinking to myself. LOL)
4th time: Successfully capped AP (of course I waited a good 3-4 second duration before zoning out :-)

I never did get that axe back. Granted, it *was* taking up valuable space in my inventory. Wasn't showing off (it's not that rare anyways afaik)- I'd just dropped it to make room to salvage something :P
Oh, almost forgot- back when we first started playing in 05, my friend spend a couple hours farming mobs in pre-searing to save up enough gold to pay for a guild cape before we figured out we were in the tutorial zone. Those were the days.

yeah thats rough...I think whenever I was an asshole to someone was a mistake. Most games frustrate me a lot so I tend to take it out on people in the game. Not a great idea cause, a lot of people in this game are really nice people, but I tend to just get pissed at em before I even know em. Real shame...Other ingame dumb things I did was get nervous after i bought a Naga Raincaller with every single bit of cash I had. Sold it as quick as I could with little profit. Next month they had jumped 100%...Was a poor choice but I learned.
