God of Tempest
This. I think they should actually add new demonic pets, like koala bears. Or aardvarks. They would surely strike fear into the pixely hearts of all of their foes.

Protection Prayers is fine. It only seems underpowered because of things like ER, ST, and Imbagon.
Smiting is supposed to be inferior to the offensive attributes of other professions, just as Earth Prayers is supposed to be inferior to Protection Prayers. |
I would say make Presearing bigger and add all Post towns into it for all the permapre char.

The forgotten armor of Abaddon!
It starts with Nicholas finding a clue which hints at the existence of an armor set of the former god of secrets and water.
Having to care for Yakkington makes him unable to pursue this fabled armor.
Following the clue leads to another and another and on and on etc you get the point, sending you on a three continent spanning treasure hunt that tells the story of a god before he went evil.
During your hunt you keep a notebook of all the clues you found.
Having found all the clues makes is possible to find the last shrine of Abbadon.
Kneel in front of it and an ancient servant of Abaddon appears.
He/she/it ask us what we seek. The armor of Abaddon we reply and hand over the completed book holding all the info of the long and hard quest to get here and proving yourself worthy.
The servant reads the book and accepts to challenge us in a fight.
After defeating the servant the shine crumbles revealing the chest that contains the armor.
(Black cloth armor with shiny black armored parts laced with silver, heavy gaundlets radiating with purple margonite energy, the epic headpiece that fits a slayer of the former god(/shoo Kormir this is ours).
The armor works as a costume and has no real armor value
Would be a great way to show respect for the old god(hey, he did good things too) and giving players a well deserved free costume!

Gotta agree on this one. Sorrow's Furnace is dead, only reason to do it is Black Moa chick.. Wanna see it revived..
Oh, and make it elite again, cause I did it HM, and you can let 1 fart and everything practically drops dead.. Sort of agree on #10, ok, I'd like it, because back in '06 I didn't have Proph nor NF so I missed out on both Halloween and Christmas back then, while those were the best hats there were.. But I can see why they wouldn't do it.. I say, if your charr/acc is old enough, you should be able to get them imo^^ |
Quote:
Gotta disagree with you on those though..
#6 made me lol.. Easymode? I thought HM already was easymode.. Elite isn't what it's used to be dude.. Easymode would mean a lvl10 charr with 5 skills could solo it, cause we're nearing that point.. If you can practically h/h everything in the game, there is practically a negative difficulty curve.. (yes, you can do DoA with heroes, UW too, someone did it HM. Deep, someone did with himself and 4 heroes, so...) #7 Could work, but I wouldn't like it.. Well, sorta, but meh.. Doesn't feel right.. #11 Is a bad idea, because then PvP'ers would say they couldn't get lux/kurz fact anymore.. AB, but AB is dead lol.. #12 Depending on what pets you're aiming at.. To make an addition to your Sorrow's furnace thing, I'd like to see some kind of torment-ish weapons dropping there, with a similar system to DoA now.. No endchest that COULD drop it, but could also drop complete shait.. Nah, work for your stuff I say.. That would make Prophecies appealing again.. And not only for WiK.. |
I work for a living. I play games for fun, relaxation, and stress relief. The time I need to work for anything in games is the day the industry dies.
Edit: Oh yeah - any and all minis currently created in the game. Naturally, the rarer they are, the more Zcoins would be required. I would also like to see all of the Special/Pre-Order items available in the in-game store so that players can acquire items that were only available in specific regions.

How can you have towns that were only build after ascalon was destroyed, added somewhere on the same timeline as ascalon?
Admittedly it would be nice if they expanded Pre Searing a bit more, although maybe the minimalism is the real magic of pre searing (plus the scenery and music )
Lanier
On the topic of presearing, I think it would be cool to add the option to switch to hard mode after reaching lvl 20. HM monsters could drop more rune/kit drops and maybe some items currently not available in pre.

The monk's smiting prayers line is pretty terrible for PvE and Lynsey said it was on her "to consider" list way back early last year but who knows what happened with that. I don't think the dervish update was supposed to take this long (over 6 months is a bit excessive when they even recognised that the paragon and smiting monks could be looked at - and judging by this thread, a lot of players want some of the other classes looked at as well). I think it would be interesting to see a survey on class balance and what players want from Live Team priorities. It would be interesting to see how many people think classes like the elementalist, ranger, non-shadow form sins and paragons need some kind of look at for PvE. If you look through the skills these classes have there are many examples of skills which were nerfed for PvP reasons and were never buffed after they split the skills.

Release of GW 2 … before I get swept away by old age and can not play anymore because of arthritis.
But to be honest add the
1. Heroes and open up FOW / UW / DOA.
2. More Non inscribed items to start dropping on all campaigns ~ give me something to farm for Gimmie some R 7 R 8 of some other items

Add Pogahn Passage to the Zaishen Missions list.
Add some more bosses to the Zaishen Bounty and War in Kryta list.
And I cannot wait any longer for the 7 hero update. /excited

It's the only mission that doesn't have a Zaishen mission, though. Which is likely the point of people asking to add it to the Zaishen rotation. Has nothing to do with how easy/difficult it is.

More importantly though, delete hexes, delete assassins (delete "falling" attack combos ATLEAST), delete spirits (atleast soul twisting), delete Invoke. Stop pandering to pvers. Stop updating the game so that people will all run the two builds.
Make some sort of quest in isle of the nameless that effectively teaches different pvp aspects. For example, make map where you have to defeat a team with huge AoE damage and explain that you should immediately move out of it. Give this quest some sort of incentive e.g. zaishen key or faction reward.
I know you won't do any of this, but you could at least perma me so I will stop caring.

They've said a few times that while some classes have certain skills and abilities which perform similair roles, some classes are supposed to be better at those roles than others. Earth magic is supposed to be an inferior offensive line - that's "symbolically" represented by the lack of a conjure skill like the other three conjure skills.

Please no. Pre-searing is the tutorial for the game, far more developer time has gone into that community than it ever should have. Investing more time and resources into it simply isn't fair for the majority of people. |

I'd like to see....
EDIT: Oh yeah...FIX some of the damn armor art/glitches! Tops that don't go down past the belly (luxon monk top, etc...), tops that are broken (warrior female luxon top, check out the shadow your character casts for example), etc..
- 7 heroes nao! and more heroes added.
- Inscribable items in all campaigns or Blacksmith being able to turn any item into an inscribable one (even if it lost all mods in the process).
- Traders for Tomes & Max +1 less inscriptions
- Runes & Inscriptions made stackable
- Costumes obtainable in game via quest/crafting
- Makeover token obtainable in game via quest (gives 3 tokens, non tradable, 1 time only quest).
- Up the stupidly low drop rate on minis and a few other things. Cut the stupidly low drop rate out of GW2
- Balance to Dervishes, Paragons, Elementalists & Rangers...and not the Jedi style balance either!
- More characters in the sad sad party/auction window for selling stuff. Like 5x as much.
- Necromancer Blood line. Make it viable and usable. Sad when a ranger can use it better then a necro can. Try reducing blood/siphon costs based on rank of soul reaping or something so it only affects necromancers.

Remember when people complained about old IWAY , now we got BBWAY.
Remember when people complained about elona reach farming, now we got perma sin farming everywhere....
on topic : i think i would like to see a bigger rotation in week end events. I remember times ago we used to get double dyes week end , double luck in chest items , or so... whereas now i noticed week ends such as double luxon/kurzic , double eotn pts or double pts in GvG/RA happen a lot ...
Crom The Pale
After spending some time selling off my old items I would love to see a split in the party window seperating the WTB from the WTS, this would make things a great deal simpler.
Rune/Insignia stacking should have been done a long, long time ago.
I would also love to be able to shut off the PvP Zone effect in my guild hall so I could set up my skills for PvE there as well as view skills on the Priest of Balthazar as they would appear in PvE. A simple command at the Guild Lord would do this just nicely.

I would love inscriptions/mods to be stackable, awesome idea. So much wasted space I have because they do not stack.
Also Would like...
1) The Hero limit maxed to town/city limit. i.e faction elite has 12 slots.
2) New city Ebonhawk with new armor (not costume), gold weapons and quests. Would love to see a cutscene of Ebonhawk being established.
3) Something different on next bday instead of more minipets.
4) Keep the new content like winds of change coming.
5) More art contest for high-end in-game rewards.
6) Bring back monks for gw2 ....... is a wishlist right :P

Just a question... is it confirmed that 7 heros will be released? As in we can have 7 heros with us instead of just 3?
