Lots of stuff. Mostly photomanipulations and other forms of digital art (fractals = WIN), but also my fair share of drawings. And some photography (love my shiny camera). Oh, and I knit, as well.

So why not have a show-off thread?

Also, at the moment I am not taking any sort of commissions. I tried it in the past and I just couldn't keep up with it. I may take one or two at random, but that's it. So don't ask

First, some random RP-related drawings. Namely, my Dark Jedi, Rianna. She is a fun, fun, entertaining character.

She's wearing a dress. Long story why, but the mental image just struck me as too funny (she's a lightsaber specialist who fights with a very agile and acrobatic style), so I had to sketch it. Our entire group was amused.

Trying out my lovely (too damn expensive) markers. Just a quick portrait sketch.

Samus Aran. I cannot ink steadily to save my life. And her face is weird...should have used a larger sheet instead of a 4x4 inch scrap of bristol.

My hair is actually a bit shorter than that but I'm trying to grow it out again >.> Painting hair is fun though, I used to have such a hard time with it and then it kinda clicked suddenly.

And thanks for the screenies - those should be fine, and if I need any closeups for the face I can just take my Monk over to the makeover NPC for that

I love the color on your armor, too <3 It might take me a few days because I don't have another day off of work until Friday, though. And you are welcome

Wow verene! That last monk really shows off your talent! The eyes are so alive! And the nose is so cute and somehow a bit semi-realistic! Put some more work into the lips and your style is perfect! (I'm bad at drawing mouths so I can't help you there though X_X) And it's noticeable the hair-thing has clicked for you; it looks soo good ^^ *applauds you*

It's just a standard hard brush at like 2-3px for the detail on that, nothing special at all. I don't actually play around with other brushes all that much XD

Raven - yes I do have bright green glasses

They're not actually that neon in color, but yeah. They are awesome.

I didn't put much detail into the lips because I plan on coloring this in Photoshop so I'll add the detail then. That and lips are usually my downfall >.>

awww <3 she looks so cute! I can't believe you did that in 10 mins! I really like how you did her hair. It looks so real and 3D. I've always had the hardest time drawing the buns since I was sure where to put the lines to make it look realistic.

I LOVE the wink! I think we've got a winking trend now since Raven had Pery's sin winking originally, you have my monk winking, and I'm planning on making Drelias's mesmer winking XD

Huh, looked like a custom brush to me, lol. Has sort of a yarn or twine texture to it. It's a good texture.

Maybe it's because of my brush settings? I usually paint with opacity and flow turned down (anywhere between 30-80%) and both of those set to pen pressure. I like how colors build up and blend that way.

Anyway, I wound up coming home from work and opening up Photoshop XD I totally got lazy on the ribbons, haha. Also I hate ears.

Have to be at work in 8 hours. Sleeptimenowzzzzzzz...

...because I just used a pattern over the ribbon layer, set to multiply with the opacity lowered, instead of actually drawing the pattern ^^;

It's much easier, and makes for a more textured pattern.

Colored version looks great! What a pretty angel. She reminds me of my own monk Dani

and yeah I don't think neon eyeglasses would look great IRL. Unless you live in the 80s

Well, the ones I have are still a pretty bright green, but they're also much lighter and are pretty see-through (I love plastic frames). My sunglasses are purple
