Shiro & Vizu costumes

Maybe I'll update this place more frequently and forgot about my thread in the other forum. Mostly because I feel stupid repeating myself. will have to keep a close eye on this thread then


hmmmm, both the fabric and deco look a little dark

I like darker better, I think it looks good on what you have made so far.

But in the picture the lighter one is somehow emphasised by the hair colour. Perhaps look at it with the wig on before you decide? what a clever observation, that's an excellent idea!
I'll put the top aside until the wig arrives.

I attend anime conventions My main one is Anime Central (I'm staff there, actually), I'm thinking about trying to hit C2E2 and Wizard World Chicago this year, and my fiance and I are making plans to go to San Diego Comic-Con in July <3

There are tons of various anime/comic/video game/sci-fi conventions around the world, and there's always people cosplaying at them. I've even won a couple awards myself, though Tzu obviously beats me out there I cosplay less now simply because I haven't got the time to work on costumes, but my fiance and I are making plans for an epicly awesome cosplay for ACen next year - he wants to be Ezio from Assassin's Creed 2/Brotherhood, and I'm going to be Caterina Sforza from her portrayal in those games (namely her AC2 version, I like that dress better). It will be amazing, and I can't wait to start on those costumes. cosplayers come in all types and sizes as you may know---sailor bubba?? (I used to do some of the cons around there a while ago---did a no face waaay back and a tare panda costume--dont know if you were around back then).....

and Tzu, couldnt you just use those daggers on the other arm?

(and yeah sometimes having long hair comes to my advantage--no wigs needed here as I can sit on my own locks).

I think maybe the underlying armour piece is a different shape for each arm.

I actually looked up conventions and found Sakura-Con in Seattle that has cosplay so I'm going to try to go to check it out. I'd love to go as one of the Inuyasha girls for it, but the deadline on the costumes in March 31, so I doubt I'd make it in time. At least I can see what other costumes there are so I can plan ahead when I have more time. I am DEFINITELY dressing up and going to PAX this year! I was so upset that I didn't find out about it until they were full D: I've never been to any kind of convention so I'm really excited about going to one this year > Unless people don't dress for PAX... because then I'd feel silly D:
