One I've been wondering about is Kanaxai.

Kah-nahk-sai? Kah-nah-shai? Ai as in the word 'high', by the way.

Faw-zee Yee-or-ee-os (os as in "most")
Go/Goo-gee? Gah-koo-la
Sah-kah-lo Yahp-yahl?

Kanaxai, since it's Cantha, is probably intended to be Chinese and thus "Kah-nah-shai."

I thought I was pronouncing it the same way - Sows-Kay - but now, after reading all those prior posts, I'm thinking Jin says, "Sow-su-Kay". BTW - that's a female pig, not planting seed.

Chilblains will ALWAYS be "Chili Beans", and Aatxes will be "Ah-taxes" (gotta be a liberal!)

edit: I forgot 1 more: Divinity Coast. My son once called it, "Div-a-nity Coast" and it's stuck ever since!

I've always said:
Tyria - Tear (long e sound)-ree-uh

Remains of Sahlahja - could never figure that one out, so started calling it Remains of Salamander

Olias - Oh-lie-us

Dzagonur - Zag-uh-nur

Aatxes - at-axes yes, I know it's wrong

Sousuke - souse (like mouse)-su-kay the "su" is barely audible so it almost sounds like souse-kay

Kanaxai - can-axe-eye

Kaineng - ki (like eye)-nang

Tahnnakai - tah-knock-key

Lol at Kanaxai. In hokkien it is a swear word, meaning something like "oh s***!" I wouldnt be surprised if many "canthan" words have strange meanings in other languages..

Someone during the Canthan New Year was saying that one of the NPCs' names (one of those added for the festival) was a curse word in Cantonese or something like that.
