7 heroes party update??

Read they need to be 20, but you guys know if one can "herofy" a pvp character?

Probably not, as that would have been an obvious loophole to the level 20 requirement.

Why would you want to? Basic armour is fugly; just use a pre-made hero skin.

I guess that's a matter of opinion - I think it's sensible that the title should for the 1 character that does it all. You might prefer it to be otherwise, but that doesn't make the way it is, nonsensical.

that is the million dollar question today. aka none knows till anet presses the Enter on the server to make it go Live. or click a mouse button.

This is what you need to do to make it work

Zone to Balthazar Island ~ then Hit” M “repeditativly about 20 times. Did the Embark Beach location show up on the map?

If Yes You are set go to Embark Beach

If No Log off Guild Wars and restart repeat the above step. Sooner or later it will appear

All of this doesn't answer what is the $1,000,000 question for me, can we take 7 heroes into FoW and UW

People who like grouping/PUGing will be able to do so a LOT easier at Embark Beach. People who don't play often with people weren't playing often with people away. Sure, some people who have had to group because they couldn't get through something with hench, yeah, they may not group. But on the other hand, they may also *want* to play with other people, but can't FIND them.

It pretty much makes the anti-social people... anti-social and happy. And it makes the social people social and happy. I'm fine with that. It's one of the things I like about the update. If was JUST 7 heroes, that would be encouraging people to give up on grouping because finding people is a pain in places. But with Embark Beach, now people can get in one place to group, rather than all over the map. It helps with the scattered population problem. Lots of people are playing, but they're not always where you are.

I feel it's a well thought out update when looked at from that angle. And even though I'm hugely excited by 7 heroes, I think it's going to be Embark Beach that's going to be rockin' in this update (inevitable build elists aside) by giving people a broader way to group - it may even encourage *more* grouping. Heck, I'm thinking when I have enough time, I may hang around there and just go on missions with people for fun. Maybe get a chance to get my Monk out here and be an awesome healing machine.

People have been saying the end is upon us for a couple of years now; and if it is, at least now we've got some different stuff to play with and try before rocks fall and everyone dies.
