What I Miss

Microing the crap out of heroes in GvG and flawlessing good guilds in GvG, then getting called heroway noobs in all chat.
-not waiting for 8 players to go, and just getting 5 players while i micro 3 heroes and winning.


Hero battles
-Not getting bored when I'm the only one on.

Team Arenas
-Farming glad points with decent players, now the only way to get that rank is by syncing.
- When there was some fun PvP other than tombs or GvG, Codex is bloody boring.

When you could actually get to halls without a skip.

When there wasn't a completely unplayable dead hour for Alliance Battles

When there were people you could play with in each mission, instead of playing alone with 7 heroes.

When people you actually heard of winning the mat, and not random bad players who get good with dervishes, because all of the decent players quit.


Tell me what you miss.

I'm pretty sure if you beat a guild and their response was "heroway noobs" that they weren't a 'good' guild.

I miss pretty much everything about the game before NF and EotN.

Wow, I miss pretty much everything you have listed except the first. I do miss holding halls with heroway though

when having a perfect weapon was cool, not something you got with a good requirement and bought the mods for.

I miss when Euros used to hold HoH constantly and everyone played on Euro servers and got stuck in Euro servers because they switched to gain favor.

Farming the FoW Forest with my R/Me, even though it wasn't as profitable as I expected.

Powerleveling lazy people outside of Droks.

When greens were valuable.

RA not being full of people who would leave if they didn't synch.

RA being full of noobs who would leave if they did have a monk.

RA not being full of monks.

The days when teamwork meant something other than discordway, mesway, ritway, physway, etc.

I miss the old Proph days back when everyone would just play to play.

I miss full HA runs. This skipping from Burial Mounds every time is teh sux.

I missed that time when people would click Log Out instead talking on board how that game is dead, though they are still on board that is about that game. Oh, you paradox, you are so random!

I miss the old UWSC, it was so easy and yet so much fun.

I miss AB more then anything else.

I miss pretty much all what you listed , good to see i'm not the only one ..Like you , i swear i could PvE some areas with full humans and PvP with heroes ( totally the opposite of today's situation) instead of waiting hours in HA id1 ...

I also miss pre-eotn situation , when people didn't play for titles only..

i miss when weapons were worth money based on how cool they looked, as opposed to how overfarmed they are
i miss when i didnt need to go to kamadan to feel like i wasnt the only person on the game
i miss when normal mode was hard
i miss when ventrilo was required for DoA and The Deep
i miss when 1 hour of recruiting yielded 10 new members to your guild
i miss playing with all my friends who now no longer play
and most of all i miss when i was brand new and had no clue how to do anything and assumed that i would never do everything.

i miss exploring new areas and being like whoa i wonder whats around that corner. q.q

I miss days when was a noob excited for everything.


Roughly 1,5 years ago, never seen anything older.

hmm, hard one, I miss a lot. My most missed ones I guess are:

.When my sin was constantly rejected from pugs because they all thought sins were suicidal...good times

.when I made a monk due to my sin being rejected and pugged lots of missions to see lots of sins were suicidal and rejecting them thereafter...

.Pre Hard Mode when elementalists still felt like gods in pve and could nuke, not tickle enemies.

.When there were still heroes allowed in the Zaishen challenges to make easy balth factions

.when greens were worth a lot.

.when you were forced to pug. I hated it then but got to admit there were some funny times and also great times like when you were last one standing everyone would cheer/spam "you can do it!" or "RUNNN!!!!" and when you do manage to save the mission that feeling you get like you saved the day or something.

.Lots of others but I don't have time to list them all, I remember there was a nostalgia thread that had most of what I missed on.

Pre-pvx wiki builds.

Watching the old GvG matches and being awestruck.
