Tyrole
Started during the first hour of the early opening of the E3 4 Everyone event. I still have my warrior from that event. Sometimes I still miss the skill gems...
Played obsessively during all the beta events - my guild was pretty highly ranked during some of the beta. We fought WAR once...those guys were good.
Took numerous long breaks during retail; back now to get excited for GW2.

70 months - but with many many long breaks, I tend to play a lot of different MMO's - but right now I'm only playing GW because I'm fed up with the standard MMO concept.
EDIT: My age says 2,725 hours combined on my two accounts with chars I play. I'm guessing that's not a lot.

w00t!
I'm in the mid 3k range in terms of hours, started playing as soon as my Prophecies CE launch-date order arrived from Amazon (or NewEgg, can't remember). Joined Guru shortly after I discovered that it existed.
Ghull Ka
I been playin since before the Monk Strike.
I was playin when we had to grind XP for Refund Points.
I was playin when everything past Iron Mines of Moladune was considered "Endgame".
Back when there was no such thing as "Core Skills" -- just "Skills"
Back when 100's of people would crowd around to get a glimpse of Gaile Grey's lvl 7 toon.
Back before we followed twitter feeds, we just waited for The Frog to talk to us in LA.
Back before holiday events were obligatory, and so when LA got dressed up for that first Halloween, it was TREMENDOUSLY EPIC.
Back when you had to use your Signet of Capture at the same time the Boss used the skill you wanted to capture. Have fun capturing Gladiator's Defense, warriors.

I started playing back when Prophecies was just called Guild Wars. It was just before Factions came out, and I had to explain to my wife why I'd just bought the same game twice. Then she got hooked...
I stopped playing after I'd filled my Hall of Monuments with pretties. Then they came up with the GW2 calculator. Grrrr. From thinking I had everything to 30/50.
I had to start playing again. I had to.

Started probs around the time Factions came out.
I just ventured into a local game shop and picked it up with no actual reason for wanting it (as far as I can remember). It was a random purchase, just going by what the back sounded like - a cool game to get into. I can't even remember if I wanted a game that particular day, but hey, I'm still playing the game till this very day on and off, so it was a good purchase.

First account started with beta release, didn't know anything and reset all my chars after a month (5 char on this account turn 6 this year from May to Sept).
Second account got just after Proph finished beta (3 char on this account will turn 6 this year) this was a mule account.
Ran out out of char slots got third account Dec same year (5 char will turn 5 this year).
The first and last account are fully loaded all games and goodies (GotY, and other stuff).
The second account is Prop and Factions only.

Account #1 - 8,644 hours over 69 months.
Account #2 - 581 hours over 71 months.
Account #3 - 598 hours over 69 months.
Account #4 - 869 hours over 64 months.
All 4 x accounts 10,692 hours over 71 months.
Started out playing GW with just one account in May '05 then created the other 3 accounts within 6 months after that. I created the other accounts because of the 4-char slot limit at the time and also I needed mules.
Over the years I've kept on adding more mule chars to each account that now I have somewhere between 16 and 26 chars on each account. Glad I did though -- people say I'm mad, but this cazy guy made a huge killing (about 3000 k in-game) selling 300+ minis just after the HOM Calculator came out.

3500 hours in 69 months. Although i've taken a break for 2 years since my old GvG guild quitted R.I.P CrAP and AVE.
Now after more then 5 years since i got the game decided to actually finish the PvE campaigns (except for prophecies) and do something about the HoM at 25/30 now, got most points because of my PvP titles and mini pets.
The reason i actually bought this game back then was because my MMO before that (Pristontale 1) was kinda dead and someone said i should try this game out. So i dare say it was a good advice from those players.

Seeing some amazing ages here.
Me myself, 60 months coming up on the 28th of April. Starting playing when factions came out!
My main from those days got banned just over a year ago, so no accurate time played figures
My most recent account has roughly 500 hours.

65 monts, over 1000 hours.... which is not very much, I havent even seen all the content GW has to offer, mainly serious PvP content, and high-end pve. I always play it for a good while, then nothing for a few months... but I keep coming back
But I really play just for the PvE. What I love about GW is that I can solo the whole game, and just play at my pace, with my heroes/henchies. Main advantage is that even if the game is dying (imho not so much, but still, GW 2 coming ), I can keep playing, cause I dont need other people to have fun. I played in some guilds, and had a good time, but my leave-and-come-back-after-few-months isnt really social-friendly.
Anyways, my number 2 most favourite game ever, second only to Diablo 2. Long live GW!
