The atmosphere of the blue piece is very serene, a little lonely though.
The archer is simply gorgeous (I hope she is not shooting doves ^^) I very much like the armour, which is more practical than most.
I am pleased we get to see your old pieces but need to have them bigger.

Really nice color studies on the clothes there. The character designs are a lot of fun too - the Ranger is looking especially nice. Reminds me a lot of Horia Dociu's "Thief Queen" painting.

I also decided, after talking to an awesome GW guru member, that I would occasionally create small little tutorials. These tutorials are to aid anyone out there that might need help. I am not a professional artist, however I have learn a few things so I'll be happy to try to help.

That study of David is so incredibly awesome! I love that statue and I love your painting on it. It's so hard to give a body very little muscle, which I so envy of that statue. The colors you gave it are really nice too, the reds really fit in there. Great job!

Thank you Tommy I might do more anatomy studies. David's muscle structure was quite subtle. It was quite a task not to 'beef him up', I'm trying to focus more on naturalistic proportions. Moreover, I'll try to practice more environments and value studies. So these might my last people drawings for a while on the computer .

some fantastic improvement going on here, I really like your studies. I was going to point out that David's head looks a bit too large, but then I had a peep at reference pics and actually it looks too large for the statue too

When I saw the picture of David I thought his head was quite large, I still do . And thanks I love experimenting with color!
Thanks Sura, I actually loathe anatomy, however I think it is a real big help when drawing humanoid forms without it, at least for me, my work would look much different then it does now.

I don't know why it is called corrupted armour when it has a lovely jewelled look to it.
Everything is still a little dark, it's a bit frustrating not to be able to see it more clearly.

The idea behind the corrupted armor came from a personal project I was working on. The project was based on numerous PC games and movies. I felt that, like in life, most things that look beautiful are often very dangerous/bad.
I wanted the armor to look appealing to eye, however at the same time I did not want it to look overly glamourous. I really like iridescent objects and wanted the armor to have that appearance.
I don't know why it appears dark, on my monitor, it looks normal. Maybe the size of it makes it look darker...
I wonder if anyone else sees it as dark.

I have loved looking at your work, this is the first time I post in this section. I've been looking for someone to draw one or two of my characters and was wondering what you charge, if you're willing (not too busy), and what would be drawn for the cost charged.

I did quite a few color value drawings, while listening to a lot of music. I think the music helped me to keep going. I listened to Rob Dougan, Miles Davis, The Doves, and Kaori Kobayashi. Very great artists, but I digress.The first one is another clothing color value.
The idea behind this was quite simple. I love clothes :3. However, this time I learned a new technique which involved the noise filter, if done correctly it can produce stunning details and this is seen in the shirt and boots I drew. I focused heavily on detail on the shirt. Zooming in and out were really beneficial. The skirt was real simple. But, the hardest part was finding the light direction, which made me give up partially. The boots were pretty difficult to do. But as I said earlier, the noise filter was awesome!
The next drawing was the most challenging and most fun.

It was based on a Venetian cathedral. I felt that I should try my hand at architecture, which I rarely ever do. First, I tried to start without lines but that did not go so well. Therefore, I cheated
, but it was still difficult to do with lines. And by the end I wanted to destroy all of the little statues that paraded the cathedral, lol.
The one above was just random. I did an aircraft in 15 minutes, which I think I should redo, and a film scene from one of my favorite movies. That picture is still a work in progress. Wow, I think this is my longest post ever. I was wondering... is there anyone who wanted me to draw them a non-Guild Wars character, I can only do one before I leave.....
I forgot to mention that this is the last time I'll be posting Guru. I know I didn't stay too long or didn't say much but I felt like this was a nice little home. From Aeronwen to Charlie, Morag, HigherMinion, Tommy and the countless others who gave me critiques or showed interest I wanted to say thank you for your support and encouragement. I will miss you all hope to see you in GW2. Peace.

I liked reading all of the stories produced by many individuals, like Konig's Rise of a Lich and Doctor Overlord's weekly comics. And I liked the effort put into some you guys characters like you Aeronwen, Hailfall, Morag, and IH. This is a very creative forum with so much talent. I'm happy I was part of it, even if it was for a little time.
