This isn't exactly the worst thing that's ever happened as much as it's just an Epic Facepalm moment, but I've managed to accidentally merch the same piece of armor, twice. It's a pair of female elementalist ancient armor gloves. The first time I wasn't really pissed, thinking "meh, everyone probably does something stupid like that once or twice".
The second time I honestly wasn't mad either. It was more just like "... Okay."
I guess what baffles me more is that I have never accidentally sold any other pieces of armor in my 6 years of playing.

The worst thing that happened to me in the last 2 months:
I had this max req8 heraldic shield from NF and just put it in storage. Now I decided to put it for sale here on guru hoping for 50k or something. And I realise it doesnt have an inscription slot. Its worth the 86g the merchant offers

Not something that happened in GW but happened while playing...
We were looking to get our Black Moa Chicks a few years ago and I was on my warrior. I asked my wife for a can of pop and she asked if she could have the first sip. I said sure and eventually recieved my can of pop. We took a while to get our group ready to go and I started to feel really tired. The next thing I remember is waking up the next morning.
Shocked at my new surroundings, I remembered what had happened the night before and then curiosity took over me. I logged in to GW and there was my new Black Moa Chick along with a run's worth of drops and gold.
Apparently my wife slipped a sleeping pill in my pop and I had fallen asleep during the run. Because I was on Ventrillo, my friend woke me up to keep me going. I never died, tanked like a champ and avoided the obsticles better than those fully awake (according to my friend). It was over 3 years ago, and they still give me crap about it.
And no...i never recieve an open can of anything from my wife.
