why cant we hav 15k knights??

i hav been wondering why cant we hav 15k knights i saw the one on duke barradin and its so nice i would like to hav it on chapter 2 wouldnt u??

because of 15k ascalon armor. knights armor is the same thing as ascalon armor. both have absorbtion built in. if u check the 15k ascalon to the 15k knights u will find out they are the exact same. no need to have too kinds of armor that are the EXACT same but look different. sides i would stil stick to 15k ascalon armor instead of 15k knights.

Because people like wearing a spike on their shoulder held together with a thin strap of leather WAY more than a full set of armor. So its futile even to create the item, people will still by the stupid gladiators.

Wyvern and Platemail are exactly the same and they are both 15K armors

As yes, but monks have Wanderer's, and Saintly. Warrior's have Dragon's and Platemail. Necros have two types with the same mods as well (Fanatics and Tormenters was it?) The fact that Knight's has the same bonuses as Ascalon is not a reason to exclude Knight's.

the necros got theyre 15k armor that they wanted only natural for people to want this armor now that they know A.net is listening. i too would love some 15k knights armor

I doubt it will come. The 15k versions of current armour all had placeholders at Marhans Grotto/Granite Citadel, which looked like bog standard 1.5k armour, until they were updated. Knights armour was never there, so it's not likely to be coming.

If they do add it, expect people to start begging for the following:
15k Stonefist Gloves
15k Bloodstained Boots
15k Fanatics Tunic
15k Facial Scar Patterns (monks and necros)
15k Masks for Rangers
15k Mesmer Masks
15k Elemental headsets
15k Warrior Helmets with +1 to an attribute
15k Gladiator's Helmet
15k Soldier's Armor
...

And all the other different kinds of armor found in the game, that have 1 version somewhere in the game. Necromancers and Warriors have the most armor sets in the game.
Necros got their 15k Tormentor's reskin because the armor was available when the game came out, but the skin was the same as 1.5k armor. Adding 15k Knights means they add a whole new armor set, with a whole new skin. Also meaning Warriors have 5 sets to choose from, while others have only 4.
Besides, most people go for Gladiator's Armor with an Ascalon Helmet, since the armor reduction is still global (from testing), meaning there wouldn't really be a point in buying 15k Knights, just 1 piece...

I got 2 questions;

1) Why would you buy a full set of Knights in the first place, let alone 15k Knights

Seriously, the armor is commonly known to be garbage, and apart from buying it to have every armor, it doesnt really have a use. Don't think it's worth making if it doesnt really do it's intended purpose.

Other professions only have 2 sets of armor that have the same stats 15k Bonelace/15k Cultists). Warriors have Wyvern/Platemail.

Every profession has another armor model that they could make 15k for, but they don't get it. It's just the way it is. Don't complain, we get 15k helmets, others don't. Besides, I like 15k Ascalon more than 15k Knights

And I agree, I think the armor get fixed asap, though.

look at the complete crap job they did on the tormentors 15k armour after so long of waiting and overhyping that it would look great (yeah right its absolute crap, same as the 1.5k except VERY minor changes). do you really want that disappointment after taking them months to produce a 15k knights armour?

exactly they arleady have a set of armro that is 15k and the exact same y make it 2 sets of the exact same armor? whats next another energy armor w/ a different name for warrior to match up to gladiators armor? 1 pair is enough for me. (and ya its dragon and platemail not wyvern Echo)

Tormentor's isn't THAT bad when you see it up close (nice and shiny), but it was a big dissapointment, imo. Not worth the wait, definitaly. But then again... How can it not be "worth" the wait when we didn't have to give up anything to get it???

They did add it for free....

Because PvE is easy enough for you to spend money on looks.

Personally I like the look of Knights armor the best (plate comes in a very close second). Besides, sometimes its fun to have the entire set even if you could get more functionality from a assortment of different sets.

I agree it looks alright, but apart from for looks, and to new players, people aren't buying it. It might be put in eventually, but I think that because not many people buy Knights (compared to other armor types).
